Top Best European Christmas Market | Tallinn, Estonia

When where to spend Christmas time comes into my mind, an image of a nice snowy small Christmas town always occurs.
This year we chose Tallinn in Estonia, a small country near baltic ocean. It has a very fascinating history and culture. The time of the old town can be traced back to 12th century, which is even earlier than Prague in Czech.
We found this this place by doing a quick check on the best Christmas markets in Europe and this was on the the list and was the cheapest ;)
It is as we thought, Tallinn is a very small city and you can walk to any old towns destination in 10 minutes. There are a lot of nice church building being influenced by different countries, Russian, Denmark, Norway, Finland....because the country just independent from Russian in 1991. Walking in the old town, see some local people wearing the old style cloth, you will feel like you go back to the medieval time.
We are very lucky, its snowing and the town is just so quiet, you can hear the sound of the snow dropped on the floor. The bell ring from the church in a distance, the Christmas light shining to the dark pure sky.
The people here is quite nice and helpful. Most of them can speak fluent English. The internet the is fastest in Europe and food is very cheap.
However, the cloth, shoes is quite expensive. An Uber driver told me, she usually go to buy cloth and boots in London.
If you come from a big city and like a bit of quiet experiences, Tallinn is a good place to rest your heart.
