Responded on twitter Ped too. The monolith is awful. I quite agree with you about the current one being too cluttered. THAT's down to Everton attaching Everton & 1878 to it, which was added way back under Moyes. I think it's not needed. With regards to the actual crest, need to separate the crest that came about in 1938 & the badge on the shirt. The ones on the shirts in the 80's etc were always along side the actual crest. You can view programmes if you want to double check it so the shirt is different. The club seem to have amalgamated and want to change the crest every few years. It's poor. Plus the monolith tower is not and never will be as famous for us as the liver bird is for them. Someone at the club wants sacking.
i personally loved the 125th anniversary kit badge simple classic and a nod to the past was always gutted that was a limited edition kit was an amazing kit
My problem with kits being that price is that they usually only last one year due to sponsor changes or kit supplier changes. If you pay £70-110 for a kit that only lasts a year then it's a pretty rubbish deal and also isn't great on the sustainability side of things for the club. I could get far more on board with paying that price for a kit if it lasted two or three seasons.
Ned has bought the old Mersey rail platform tannoy system, .. the new kit is looking good imo.. good luck to onana ,.. I would sell DCL we need a fresh approach to score goals, as long has the new striker can score 10+.. 👍🏼
Ped is spot on the Beahon brothers are still the main shareholders of Castore there is other shareholders but they're still the main ones.
Blue socks is a chelsea and Leicester thing, everton are white socks let's keep it that way, it's unique to us, why become another chelsea and Leicester.
The pro & fan shirts are a gimmick. The shirts have always been replica shirts. When I was at school in the 80's I realised this as the real kit had subtle differences. The badge & kit manufacturer IE Umbro were smaller & sewn in. The colour was slightly different particularly shorts. Collars slightly different. Glaringly obvious if you look. All these are doing is making a like version and it's not just a replica. However it does leave the fan version to be substandard, more like a fake.
