It is purest agricultural magic of Ukraine. Thousands years old. No kidding. The song is called Spring and it is an ancient ritual song greeting the spring season.
It is not a jungle, it is a Ukrainian wide open field with larks singing in the blue skies and the soil being ready for the seeds
I'm a simple person; I see Ukrainian content, I give it a like!
This song - it's a Saga about Nature's Birth every year! "Vesna" in Ukrainian means Spring
Ukrainian folklore have a huge part of a pre-Christian ritual songs for every season. Spring songs called Vesnianky
Girls from Dakha Brakha sing one of this spring song with ingenious music arrangement
Close your eyes and imagine our Ukraine - perfect place for your soul
Found them a few years ago during the Pandemic, and they've been one of my favorites ever since. They have amazing talent, and what's happening to their country is absurd and heartbreaking.
Slava Ukraine! 🇺🇦
IMO, They are one of the best ensembles in the world today. I've followed them for years now.
"Vesna" - means "spring", thats why sounds of birds at the beginning and etc 😊 wind, rain, fields, forest, mountains, first flowers, sadness and joy. Sounds and feelings of our spring here
Thank you very much to the American people for helping Ukraine
In God We Trust

A lot of work, love and dedication of generations of people have been invested in what they do. It's magic)
They perform a lot in America. On November 15, they were in New York) So I hope you will come to their concert)
I think this is the most underrated, under appreciated and under promoted band (or artistic project?) of our time. I am Gen X, I basically listen to rock music (in all its variations from the most mellow to the heaviest) but the first time I heard them my brain blew up. If the is a next time however, for this particular band I would listen to studio versions... I like live performances but what this particular band does is rather complex and very difficult to reproduce or even adapt it for a live concert.
Oh, you NEED to see them live! You're actually missing out on half the experience if you haven't! They sound just as amazing if not more so, and don't lose any of the complexity. Live performance is where they shine, and their connection with the audience is just transcendent.
I am actually a fox commenting for the first time on a human forum; the fox imitation at the beginning drew me in. Damn, she's good.
@@Huilan1161 these preformers are Ukrainian
I chuckled when you said "They're not gonna sing, are they?", because I know the song and my immediate thought was "Errr ... actually, they're ALL going to sing!"
"Vesna" is the Ukrainian word for "spring", btw, and the vibe is very much about how wild nature wakes up at that time of year, even affecting people who live in cities. So your comments about how you felt transported to the jungle were spot-on.
Thanks for a very enjoyable reaction video 🙂
Thank you D, Vesna is Spring time (Summoning the Spring after long cold Winter). they are all great singers but my favourite is Nina Harenetska the Cello player. please go into the "Rabbit hole" of their music.💙💛
Please, more DakhaBrakha! ❤
when I hear this music, tears come to my eyes... something inside of me tightens
🇺🇦❤️
Thank you men
I just cried at the 7:07, because lyrics just insane
When u at 4:10 make a suggestion about singers, my thought was like, oh boy, u’re not ever close to this masterpiece yet.
Thank you from all my hear, and hello from Ukraine
My advice to you, get know this group close, and try album version
Awesome!!! It was worth hearing! I'm eager to see more your reactions to this mysterious band!
Great music! Great reaction!
Saw them twice and i want to see them again! DakaBrakha brings unbelievable emotions when you listen to them live
With love from Ukraine!
I've been on their performance a few times. Truly religious experience.
You'd really like "Baby" by this band!😍
This band is unreal. Legit.
please react to DakhaBrakha - Baby
I would like so much to recommend you to make reaction for Dakha Brakha "Sonnet" on KEXP. It's amazing performance and the song in English, so you don't need subtitles😊 Thank you for this video❤. In this song "Vesna" (Spring) you can hear ancient traditional Ukrainian song for celebrations of Spring's coming. And, by the way, that "jungles sounds" you can hear in forests in Ukraine in the Spring 😀
Thanks! Love them so much
DakhaBrakha - 9 nedilechok (Live on KEXP)
Second favorite song from them after "Vesna". Incredible acoustics
Totally agree!
great reaction! really interesting to watch!) I think video THE HARDKISS - 00:00, will be interesting for you)
This band makes me feel as if They Know the way all music is *supposed* to sound. There are very few artists who know how to put in only the sounds that belong there & if you're lacking for songs to react to, I'll link a few. Anyone can do the hits. If you like strange...
Joe Jackson has a few "ultimate" songs: his first ever track on his first ever album "One More Time" is Every Break-up: "On Your Radio" however is where I always suggest people begin with Joe. It's an Ultimate Revenge song. & what makes a rock song? Kick-ass drums? Blazing guitars? a rebel message?
If so, then The Man in the Street ua-cam.com/video/VDAlna2l3YA/v-deo.html is The Ultimate rock song *sorry no video). & Evil Empire ua-cam.com/video/PeJMuEKF3wc/v-deo.html is the Ultimate Protest song (that video is fan-made).
Loisaida is an instrumental. No video.
One artist, lots of options. His Sunday Papers usually blows people away & there's a live version of it that changes everything including lyrics, but not the bass line, so the crowd doesn't even know what it is that they're enjoying until that kicks in.
As for these guys, that entire KEXP set of 4 songs are all worth their own video, *_ESPECIALLY_* Carpathian Rap & Baby. I'll look to see if you got them already.
You heard me. Carpathian. Rap. (Doesn't everyone associate urban American music with the Carpathian mountains)?
Pls check out the song "DakhaBrakha- baby"
I'm sure you'll love it🫶🏻✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

Very unique
Old style, preorthodox song (under 9 st)
It was great, but it is not a jungle, it's almost ordinary Ukrainian spring forest))
✊💂👍.sonet
You have to see the italian band New Trolls ' concerto grosso live

you don't have to know Ukrainian, we speak English well here))
