it's so hard to deprogram the need for instant gratification when it comes to fashion after being primed by fast fashion for so long, but seeing these finds makes you realize how often we settle for less. loved the video!
Absolutely!! So well said - it feels SO good when you find something secondhand too cause you know noone else will have it! But the time it takes sometimes ah!! x
The first leather jacket is fantastic. Looks so well thought our and designer. No issue with the proportions, just looks so wonderfully high-end fashion and updated 1980s SoHo rather than run-of-the-mill biker jacket. The lining is a great detail as well.
I would look into having the racer jacket sleeves tailored to make it more wearable. Nice selection of patches on it and the brown tones do make it quite elegant for the style.
The swirly cream sweater (color looks very nice on you) might look even better over a slip dress, for minimal visible lines at the waist.

Mohair, angora, cashmere! Very vintage. I heard stories about women putting their special sweaters in the freezer. I don’t know why. Great event!
My fave fabrics!! I've done that as well haha for me it was to protect from moth holes/I find it helps with 'vintage smells' but I'm curious if there are other benefits! x

So fun right!! And agreed - it was higher than I expected overall but there were some booths within the $30-60 range! Nothing beats finding something yourself at a thrift store though!! And thank you, always appreciate you 🤎
