We have very similar skin: acne prone, oily/combo that dries out in winter (I wish it would pick a struggle! 😭). I've also experienced the same thing where supposedly non-greasy sunscreens still feel greasy to me and Biore is the only one I've tried so far that wasn't greasy. It seems like Anua products work well with your skin. I'll have to try them out in my next haul. Also, I found that my results with vitamin C varied from product to product. I got great results with Timeless (although it took 6 months to see), but little to none with Paula's Choice, The Ordinary and Melano CC. I've since switched to TXA which gives me faster results and it seems like a more consistent, stable ingredient across the board since I've tried 3 different brands with similar results.
Tell me about it haha I wish my skin could stick to one thing 🤣 Agreed! The Anua sun cream is super moisturizing vs the Biore which is more gel like! It's good to hear that someone else has varied experiences with Vitamin C, it's so unpredictable IMO! I'll look into these though ty :)
girl I was about to cry when I heard your skin type It's exactly the same as mine and I struggled A LOT finding someone with this specific combo 😭😭 love the vid btw
Vitamin c is good on the long run!! It's supposed to prevent aging, you would only notice if you used on half of your face for like a year. But it does work really well, is one of the most researched compost 🧡
My skin type is quite similar to yours and I’ve had the same experience with vitamin C, my skin doesn’t react well with it. Also, if you struggle with dry skin in the winter try the Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA serum, it’s actually an oil-serum. I love it!
Thank you for this in depth video! I ended up ordering the Heartleaf Silky Moisture Sunscreen from Amazon and I noticed it has a sort of paint primer smell to it so I'm wondering if I got a counterfeit product. Could you describe the scent of the sunscreen you have? Thank you!
I also love the jsm cushion, I’m the same shade medium! I tried the next shade medium deep, which would work better for summer. Their foundation powder in Sand was great too!
Wow, such a useful video!! I like BLACK PEARL creams, great effect, although they can be hard to find. I personally get them from Dead sea shop, where the discounts are nice.
The way you were raving about that some by mi moisturizer- I had to try! Thank you❤ so excited to give it a shot Something I LOVE as of late, super hydrating is Jin Jung Sung soothing moisture skin essence you should try it!
IMPT QUES !!!! Can ask what skincare routine (AM and PM) will you recommend for oily, acne-prone, clogged pores and inner deeply dehydrated skin with all products u mentioned in the video? And can i ask there are so many serums and ampoules that u showed in the video, how often do you swtich to a different serum or ampoule and how do you incorporate in your skincare routine? and how can I restore or repair my weak skin barrier too?🥺
great video, I have the same skin type as you. I've been seeing the SOME BY MI AHA BHA PHA 30 Days Miracle Cream everywhere. Does it pair nicely as a moisturizer along with the 30 day miracle toner? Also, im just curious-- what is your stance on paulas choice 2% bha?
Would definitely try these.. I am currently having acne problems.. but I have a question, have you stopped using axis y dark spot serum? How was it? Thanks 😊
Aw hope it gets better soon! I finished my tube of the dark spot serum but found that I got better results for my dark spots with niacinimade/alpha arbutin so for the price/value I'd recommend the latter! I think I mentioned in my last holy grail video :)
Can you please share how you treated your acne scars? I have many scars on my cheeks and I'm not sure how they got so bad. Maybe cuz I've tried numerous products, which might be the reason. However, I have been using the same gentle products for the past 2 months.
Scars like pitted scars you mean? That's tough it's been a patience thing with time. To get rid of them quickly people have recommended laser treatments which I need to research more into (esp cause they're so expensive here in Toronto). I've focused mostly on being consistent with actives in my serums that help promote cell turnover!
I find I don't have an issue using the some by mi products with actives like niacinamide etc. But for stronger topicals like retinols/azaelic acid I use just a hydrating moisturizer!
Hi, i just found your Channel and i am so glad i can relate my skin with yours! Love seeing your reviews❤️ Can you please let me know whether these products purchaed from yesstyle is legit? Coz i see a price difference between oliveyoung and yesstyle? Please reply
Girl please help me I have slight bumps from stress on my forehead and that causes black heads(cc) and I’m 18 so I don’t want to use something too strong on my skin
Hey i have recently started to get closed comodnes on my forehead so i tried the some by mi toner and i see that that my closed comodnes has shriken and is slowly fading my skin type is kind of yours but more of dry and combo so do you think i should use this only during my period days cause i never usually breakout this easily . Also your video is very easy to understand thank you so much for posting 🫶🏻
Ur skin type ? Cosrx propolis has always been my favourite, perfect for combination skin ,propolis can bring glow to the face as it's very moisturizing while being hydrating and it has antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties along with wound healing (helpful for people with acne)

@@inspiroue thanks! Will try these after I finished my tube.. 😊
My sister swears by adapalene. Its super irritating though, so u would have to do your research on how to apply properly.

@@inspiroue im so sorry I meant hyperpigmentation both PIE and PIH
How do you balance the actives with the somi products with the bha/pha/ in the toner and moisturizer?

Korean brand skincare powder, apply before bed. Which brands would you suggest?
Love this so much ❤
Yay so happy to hear x
my skin type is the exact same as yours! thanks for sharing!
Totally agree with the goodal! I’m trying to finish it off😭
Hi, i just found your Channel and i am so glad i can relate my skin with yours! Love seeing your reviews❤️
Can you please let me know whether these products purchaed from yesstyle is legit? Coz i see a price difference between oliveyoung and yesstyle?
Please reply
Both sites are legit and super credible! I’m Canadian so order mostly from yesstyle as there’s no duties :)
Girl please help me I have slight bumps from stress on my forehead and that causes black heads(cc) and I’m 18 so I don’t want to use something too strong on my skin
Thank you so much for this video❤
No problem 😊

USE SERUM RETINOL N NIACIN, USE EXFO TONER PAULAS CHOICE, PERFECT FOR OILY/LARGE PORES, THANKS ME LATER.
May I ask why you stated you can’t use the Anua cleansing oil everyday? Does it strip your skin ?
I found it a bit heavy to use daily! I use it about 2-3x a week!
What’s a really nice toner without the niacinamide cause it didn’t work on me 😭😭
Ur skin type ? Cosrx propolis has always been my favourite, perfect for combination skin ,propolis can bring glow to the face as it's very moisturizing while being hydrating and it has antibacterial and anti inflammatory properties along with wound healing (helpful for people with acne)
Does the jsm not break you out??
Hi, what about review of Anua peach 70% ??
I love it! Spoke to it in my latest skincare video!
pretty and this vlog, relaxing. ❤
Thank you!! 😊
Thank you babe!
Thank YOU x
You're in Toronto ! Love your content :)
Yes I am! Aw thank you so much x
I have very very old dark spots😢whats ur suggest??
I highly recommend the numbuzin 5+ serum
This is on my list to try out too!! My spots honestly take time but love the niacinimade/alpha arbutin combo too! x
Dry skin product?
👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Anua toner is just water. Doesnt do anything lol. Its overhyped water!
Omg I kept seeing complaints about how stripping it is, that the exfoliating effect is too much for their skin etc. And I'm like GIRL WHERE ???😂😂😂😂
the match cleanser is such a basic staple
why so so so much...
