If you do this, but you straight the individual layers with a very very low temp straightener (mine is 175), it will flow more naturally like fur and will have a slight shine. It's really nice. Just be sure it's on Acrylic yarn only.
Thank you! I recently learned how to crochet and my mom has lots of yarn so this works perfectly for me. I’ve made sewn tails but they don’t move the way I want, so I’m gonna try yarn tails!
Would Touch of Alpaca® Yarn or Basic Stitch Anti Pilling™ Yarn by Lion Brand by alright? Or does anyone have any recommendations for black yarn for this project? As well as where I could find her crochet needle or whatever it's called?
Does the tail move realistically, like does it wiggle when you move lol, or is it more like a plush one where it doesn't have much motion? I wanna make a yarn tail and this tutorial seems super simple but don't wanna waste anything so just checking :)

Hmmm . . . I kind of like it before it was brushed out. Would be great that way for a stuffed horse. Thank you for a great demo.
I like to use the bits from the brush as stuffing when making amigurumi guys.
You can also save it all, card it, then spin it into custom made yarn. :-)
Thank you sooo much❤❤
Thank you bunches! Workee fab
