I am so sorry for the late reply! I hope we are still among your favorite people! We will have 2 new bidet installation videos soon (a bum gun on one toilet and and integrated heated toilet seat that heats water and blows you dry on the other toilet). Thanks for your kind comment and for watching our video!
I ENJOYED HIM SO MUCH. I WATCHED WENDY'S VIDEO THAT ENLIGHTENED ME ON OTHER USES OF A BIDET SHE MADE A FEW YEARS AGO.. SHE STILL LOOK GOOD. I NEEDED THIS LAUGH TODAY. I APPRECIATE YOU YOU BOTH. 🙂🙂🙂💕
I really want this bidet apparatus but had a $12,000 remediation and repair bill (mostly covered by insurance) after toilet water line leaked all day when we weren't home. I'm hesitant to do anything that could add more leakage opportunities. But you and your wife are charming and a great team (I watched her bidet video first), and helped me understand the installation if I do get one.
OMG! I would be very hesitant to mess around with my plumbing after that too! :o We are enjoying it and there have been no mechanical difficulties at all with it. I hope you get the opportunity and plumbing right and can try it.
I just want to say THANK YOU!!! I have never installed anything bigger than a wall pictures and this video helped me not to be intimidated. I followed your vid step by step and it worked! I love our new bidet already and I love how dedicated you are on making this vid #pantsdown. Keep it up!
You are welcome! Thanks for letting me know this was helpful for you. Enjoy your bidet! Good idea to keep that towel separated from the “face towels”!lol
I can’t believe I did by strictly following your video step by step. I had absolutely no problem at all which is a first for me when trying to anything requiring a screw driver. I can’t tell how refreshing it was on my first use. I felt I should celebrate with a glass of wine. Looking forward to my next bathroom visit 😁👍🏼. Thank you and I’ll make sure to put a towel where no one will use on their face😂
Thank you for your comment. You made our day! LOL about the butt towel. We've learned, it's paper towels sitting off to the side for us now. Hmm, wine and a bidet, gives a new definition to a "wine spritzer" :)
Thank you so much, you walked me through installing my bidet! The only hiccup was the flimsy teflon tape that came in the box, but once I bought a better roll, I was successful!
Wife and I are in tears 😂😂😂 Thank you! We received one as a gift and are debating on installing it... can’t say this video helped, but was thoroughly enjoyable and informative. Thank you.
I just got mine because my son lacks in the wiping 🧻 department, and installed it about 30 min ago, he’s yet to try it but I did and had a “refreshing” experience and can tell it’s going to work out great! If you haven’t installed it, go for it! Takes about 30-45min and will keep you sanitary!!
Thanks for the video. My instructions didn't say what to do with the tape, so I'm glad you cleared that up for me. Also found out my bolts were too short after putting the bidet on, so that was an extra trip to the hardware store. Also found out that my toilet seat has a lip underneath that catches on the bidet, so I'll have to get a different seat that sits flat.
Thanks for the comments. Sorry you had additional hardships with your toilet adapting to the bidet. I later found out from a viewer that the tape isn't necessary on "compression fittings". But I used it anyway and now I feel "doubly" secure it won't leak! LOL. Good luck with your bidet! :)
Loved your video because I'm about to buy this unit. I'm married to an experienced construction guy and he would say you're tightening everything down too much. Just my first impression. If it works, it works, but my husband taught me to tighten "gently", especially with plumbing. I loved seeing your wife at the end of the video but wished she had made comments about the feminine side of things.
Sorry for the late reply. I will take your information and apply it to the 2 new models I will be installing soon (a bum gun on one toilet and a full seat, hot water integrated blow drying model on the other). BTW, did you see my wife's review on this model? She gives her thoughts there. Overall she wasn't satisfied which is why we are going to be trying two new models. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
I appreciate the video. I bought two and was thinking about sending them back after realizing my old Flow Tight shut off valves and lines need to be replaced too. But, I saw that using angled 1/2" x 3/8" SharkBite push valves made it easy to DIY to change these out. So, now I'll either go to the hardware store or just shop at Amazon for the valves and braided hoses. I wasn't planning on having a big project, but it's probably for the best since these old contractor grade valves and lines from 2005 tend to fail around this time and that can be a massive problem. Update: It's interesting that my one toilet water valve just failed and prevented water flow to the tank. Weird! In any case I decided it was also time to change out my toilet seats too. BTW - In order to hold the bidet assembly in place I taped the bidet assembly to the top of the toilet bowl near the tank so that the bidet assembly wouldn't move and this made it much easier to mount the toilet seat and bolts on top of the bidet assembly. One more thing: Do Not Use The Teflon Tape Provided. It is unnecessary and might cause leakage. However, I did put some 'Magic Lube' lubricant/sealer on the male threads.
Good luck with your installation. I suspect that after changing out your valves and all the mess and hassle that involves, you will find that installing the bidets so easy, it will feel like a fun project. Thanks for watching our video! :)
@@WhileAwayWithUs It was a real pain in the arse (the valve not the bidet) since I hardly had any room to work. At least nothing is leaking. Also, the water hitting my backside isn't as shockingly cold as I thought it would be. I also wrapped that long hose to the bidet around the back of the toilet tank connection in order to hide it better and it looks nice and is hardly noticeable.
@@stevewollam6514 Thanks for the update! Way to go with a lot more work/skills than we have. Glad all your plumbing is behind you (pun intended)! We thought about getting the "add-on" version that heats up the water, but we are cheap and decided against it.
@@WhileAwayWithUs Our water temp is just fine but we have an unfinished basement and I vent heat to the basement. This makes the basement temperature currently at 64°F and that's also the cold water line temp to the bidets. The outside air temp is 32°. On Another Note: I did develop a small leak with the T adapter and Fill Valve on the bidet in the master bath. It seems I had too much tension on the braided lines and one line was pulling on the T adapter and Fill Valve (creating a bind) and this created a leak. I'm glad I noticed it before we had any damage. It might be a good idea for people to put a piece of paper towel under the toilet valve and tank connection and check (from time to time) to make sure everything is okay. I ended up changing out my old Fill Valve inside the toilet tank since it seemed that this was causing a leak too. I cleaned the inside of the tank around the hole where the grommet/seal (for the Fill Valve) is located. The rubber on the old Fill Valve was worn and when tightening the bidet T adapter the Fill Valve would move too and this movement helped to create a leak due to an improper seat/seal. It seems that the bind on the T adapter caused it to leak some too. Anyway, I'm glad I noticed the leak and had a spare Fill Valve and adjusted the braided lines. I do usually keep a spare Fill Valve and Flapper on hand.
@@stevewollam6514 Thanks for the follow up. Excellent ideas you have. I have also placed paper towels under any plumbing work I do, to make sure I can catch any small leaks that I failed to stop. As for your comment about (once the water is out of the back) cleaning and, if needed, replacing any hardware in the tank, I wish I had mentioned it!
Thanks for this video, I’m a visual person so I needed to see a tutorial. I followed step by step but sadly I don’t have a wrench so I can’t get the t valve tightened and water is leaking everywhere. I’ll buy a wrench and try again. Great video 😂

You could even take the two back feet off of your toilet seats original feet where it touches the bidet. Thats what I did and then it touched down in the front better like it did before install of bidet.

All your shown water lines have compression fittings so you don't need to use the teflon tape and you don't need to tighten them much, otherwise they will leak. Otherwise, good vid and funny. :)
Thanks Alex for the info. I didn't know that, I just thought you always had to put the tape on any metal-to-metal threads. Now I have learned something!
Not really, you do have to get use to how much force and what angles works and what doesn’t though. If I were to make any change it would be to get a self cleaning one. I clean our sprayers weekly but sometimes worry it’s not enough and bacteria is being pulled into the encasement.
Thanks for watching! The water on this model is cold but recently we installed one with warm water, see it here ua-cam.com/video/u9SeCIVr5zw/v-deo.html
Hi, this particular model does not but there are others that do. And after having this one for a while if I had it to do over I would definitely pay a little extra for the self cleaning model. Thanks for watching!
I just bought this one today and set it all up but for some reason it keeps leaking the first time we didn’t use the washer and it didn’t leak as much as it does now that we put the washer in. We tightened it as much as we could and it still leaked a lot! 😔 We thought we didn’t tighten it enough but when we re-tightened our regular toilet with our bare hands and there was no leak so I’m not sure what the issue is 😭
Sorry to hear of your troubles with installation. When you say it's leaking, i assume you mean the line from the water supply to the Veken bidet? I can think of a couple of places/ways it's leaking. The washer is in backwards, (or upside down), so it is not "seated" properly, making a good seal. Less likely (as I was informed by a viewer that this is not needed), the metal threads being screwed onto metal threads are not sealing well enough. If you did use the tape included, then this should not be the reason. Good Luck! Please keep me informed.
I am so annoyed.. Thank you for the video.. Everything went together flawlessly..no leaks.. except the booty washer part will Not turn off.. any ideas? about to google madly for a troubleshooting guild and hope hope hope that i do not hav to uninstall this and wait on/install another one as I've just installed this one in THE Smallest bathroom ever.. seriously.. the floor space is equal to the size of the toilet and that was really hard to install (for that reason). *sigh* smh
OH no! Im so sorry you are having this problem. :( All I can think of is that the "controller" knob is broken or misaligned. Please let me know how it's going and what you found out.
@@WhileAwayWithUs i couldnt really find anyone else with the same problem... and no toubleshooting guides that i could find. Not really, you do have to get use to how much force and what angles works and what doesn’t though. If I were to make any change it would be to get a self cleaning one. I clean our sprayers weekly but sometimes worry it’s not enough and bacteria is being pulled into the encasement.
omg that was hilarious. nice work
Glad I could give you a laugh! Thanks for watching!
J'aime le moment d'absence à 13.34 minutes 🤣
😂🤣 Thanks for watching!
👍 Good information 👍
Thank you and thanks for watching!
At laughed at your demonstration 😅 but i have a question, is the water cold? Or can you make it warm?
Thanks for watching! The water on this model is cold but recently we installed one with warm water, see it here ua-cam.com/video/u9SeCIVr5zw/v-deo.html
@@WhileAwayWithUs thank you
Question, comment on vérifie que c'est propre, combien de temps de séchage ?
I clean once a week, more if needed due to excess splashing. Thanks for watching!
Does this have a self cleaning option?
Hi, this particular model does not but there are others that do. And after having this one for a while if I had it to do over I would definitely pay a little extra for the self cleaning model. Thanks for watching!
How is it holding up 2 months later? I'm considering buying this model
So far it's working as advertised. Wendy has done a review of it and we are going to put that out this week.
This is a great video.
Thanks for watching! We plan to have a review video soon. Spoiler we don't like the all in one as much as the stand alone.
😱😂😂👍🏻 worth watching to the end!
Thanks for your comment. Great pun by the way. lol
I tried to take the bidet apart to see if i could plug the leak somehow.. but its all snapped together.. no screws.. so i'm sending it back for a refund.. I don't believe they have tht model in stock right now so i might upgrade and try and find one that works. Thank you for the video..made it easier to install..and thx for the reply :) Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New yr!
@@lushpaw1 Darn, really sorry to hear of your complications. Another person wrote that they could never get water to come out at all. I suspect that for the price, (if you got one as inexpensive as ours - $50) sometimes the quality of manufacturing suffers. Way to go with keeping at it and trying another! Good luck, - hopefully the new year will be better in everyway!
Happy New Years!
Oh Helll..... I laughed so hard at you video. Too funny.
Thanks for the comment! :)

Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching. :)
😂 That was great! Thank you!
Glad you liked it. Your welcome. :)
@@WhileAwayWithUs I installed mine with confidence because of this video. It went well until I flooded my bathroom and caused a leak in my downstairs neighbors apartment. 😳 My shut off valve was ancient and faulty.
All was repaired and now I have a tiny, incredibly strong, booty shower!
@@mai-linhm3635 OMG! Those unexpected plumbing problems are nightmares! Glad it's ok now. Booty shower--that's funny!. :)
Great instructional video! LMAO
Thanks for the comment and watching the video. It was fun installing it, but I knew it would be funnier if I tried it out as well. Glad you liked it! :)
Please help! Am I the only one who has water spraying through the gap between the toilet bowl and the seat
Hi, it sounds like your nozzles are misaligned. Try reseating the bidet on the toilet. If that doesn’t work try adjusting the nozzles by hand. But don’t break it 😉 if still no luck I would return it.
I just got mine. Looking forward to a cleaner asshole!
😂 Thanks for watching!
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Ending kinda sus
Thanks for watching!
Heu, oui, mais il aurait fallu prendre des cours de plomberie avant de faire votre vidéo 🤦♂️
Hopefully the bidet is ok. Thanks for watching!
