This was an incredibly helpful video and it saved me as I have a chemistry test tomorrow. I'm just commenting so the algorithm picks up on this and more people see it.
You're very welcome! I'm glad this was able to help with your sons calculator, I know how frustrating it can be when your calculator is not working the way you want.
Very straightforward and instructional! I ended up to this video, because of a review I read about this particular calculator. The reviewer commented that it's not possible to use "," as decimal (thousands) seperator. Is this true?
Thanks for your feedback! I've gone through the menus on this calculator and as far as I can tell it's true, there is no way to add commas as a thousand separator. It would be nice if it did though, reading 57,000 is so much clearer than 57000.
Is there a way to do this with fractions? I'd like to round my fractions to the nearest 16th or 32nd. I find the calculated industries calculators to be very fragile and would love to use a TI when out in the woodshop. (non graphing model, need it to fit in my pocket) thank you
My issue is the opposite. Mines rounding at the 9th place but I need to know whether it repeats or is irrational. I don't need it to be rounded. Will I just need a new calculator?

Thanks for the comment, I hope the test went well!
Thank you so much! I was missing questions on quizzes and test because of this and this fixed it.
Glad to help, good luck on your future tests!
This works to reset decimals from 0 to 10 - unlike another YT video for Resetting TI-30X or XIIS.
Thank you so much! This helped me fix the decimals on my son’s calculator.

My calculator has never been like this until this year. I was only getting one significant figure.
My issue is the opposite. Mines rounding at the 9th place but I need to know whether it repeats or is irrational. I don't need it to be rounded. Will I just need a new calculator?
Same!!! Im not sure how to fix this i need. I need the answer 6.8x10^-9 but it just shows a 7 at the end...
