Working as a developer my self in Sweden I can say that this is very accurate! Except for the time he left the office. Here we work regular 9-5, and yes some days when you work from home you may stay a bit longer but that's not usual.
Many people think being a software engineer is all peaches but the reality is that no matter what company you work for, you will put in extra hours, extra time if you want to get ahead. The amount of learning is unbelievable and it's always never enough. Because there will always be something else to learn, something new to implement. It truly is a grind and there is never an end in sight. Even a company with so called work/life culture still encourages learning always. It's great if you love to learn and don't want a repetitive job, it's tasking if learning a high volume of information in a short amount of time is too much for your brain to handle. However, eventually the constant learning does make you a pro and if you think about it, you get paid thousands of dollars just to learn. Can be a win/win situation for all parties involved if you think about it.
agreed, being a software engineer fundamentally is just about learning. If you can learn things quickly, then you will be an excellent software engineer. This is likely why we see the peak of developers while they are young and eager to learn, and less older folks in the industry as time progresses. I agree with your conclusion about it being a win/win for all parties, thats a great outlook to have.
Subscribed!! Thank you for giving such amazing insight on your day in the life :) This is such a productive and disciplined day! I'll be on the lookout for new content
I am currently going to school for software engineering. Videos such as this make me pumped for my future in this career field! I would go with the language that your courses are using since that will be more convenient. The language isn't important at all, it's more about the CS fundamentals that you learn such as data structures and algorithms. I will have a video going more in detail on all of this, but I think you are on the right track, just keep learning and building projects with the skills that you acquire. thank you and best of luck :)

I would say you are in quite possibly the best possible field of study/work, so the world is your oyster. I would tell you to focus on actually learning the material in your courses. It will all be relevant once you get to industry, and is really important to truly learn the fundamentals. Build projects, practice leetcode, rinse and repeat, best of luck man!

this was just a long day mate, but yea it can be like this certain weeks
Amazing video man! This is the life style I want to live: both simple and complex. I am a current CS major with a minor in mathematics. I am just about to go into second year CS! I look forward to the enlightening future that awaits my arrival :) Do you have any advice from software engineer to CS student? I'd love to hear back :))
Love the video bro! Ur life is beautiful and ur job feed you for free is a blessing by itself.. OMG! Love from Atlanta ga ❤️
thank you so much ❤, definitely don't take it for granted, wish you all the best!

Most people venture into the crypto currency to be millionaire meanwhile I just want to be debt free
Starting early is the best way to getting ahead of build wealth, investing remains the priority
Everyone needs more than their salary to be financial stable. The best thing to do with your money is to invest it rightly, because money left for saving always end up used with no returns.
I’m looking for something to venture into on a short term basis, I really need to create an alternate source of income

@@armankhondker boring
yeah, it's better to work in a diner for 20 dollars an hour than to think with your brains for a good salary
Finally, a day in the life of male vlogger that doesn't involve going to the gym just for them to show off, the uncalled for and in now way important to the video, physique display. Thank you, sir.
haha yea I wanted display as much as a realistic day as I could, ty man ♥️
Wow NEW subscriber, I love how simplistic and realistic this video was, plus love the vibes of the music and CC! (I changed my major from CS, BUT I still enjoy watching others in their element, very inspiring!)

As a junior dev and Chelsea fan I thought Chelsea games would be my stress relief…ended up with more stress 😂😂 but code and soccer after is basically my life now too, tuff vid!
+1 to this sentiment, ♥️
That's just what my dream life used to be, wish I could still reach it someday! Good vibe bro, wish u good luck.
you can definitely achieve this if you put in the work, best of luck man ♥️
Watching this video my mind fully fresh before that i was in so stress and nothing doing anything. Right now i planned special to make future batter ❤
glad this provided you with some motivation, your future will be bright :)
Nice. I like your commentary in text at the bottom and your humour, especially about the free food there... So you get free lunch and dinner.. I like it has different food types, including asian... I work in high-tech here in Seattle too, but we only get free drinks (no lunch or dinner, unless you count occasional left-overs from some other's meetings, which is still rare)... Seems like a cool place to work, but I would not want to stay until 8pm.... usually I leave around 5-6pm to commute about 1.5 hrs to get home...
Enjoyed this way more than i thought.❤
thank you so much :)
Got my like right at the beginning with "free food"
free food is only reason we go to office
