I'm pretty sure there is another version of this song later in the game where it does directly have Zelda's lullaby in it, so maybe the reason it doesn't directly have any of it yet is because she is still disguised at the beginning of the game.
That's exactly what it is, don't read the rest of this comment if you're avoiding spoilers but the second version of the theme only starts playing after zelda fixes the rift at the castle and clears her name
Later in the game the theme begins with Zelda's lullaby leitmotif which is a really nice touch. Overall this theme is great. I still think a Link Between World's Dark world remix is the best overworld theme in the series.
This game's soundtrack is awesome. They use a lot of little motifs from past games, you can notice them all over the place if you're familiar, but they're almost always a small part of an otherwise original song. For example, you can hear a few notes from the OoT Goron City theme in this game's Goron City, or you can hear a reference to the Deku Palace theme in Scrubton.
There are so many fun lighthearted pieces of music in this game! Just about to 100% it. One of my favorite tunes is the Stilled Ancient Ruins because it's something fresh and starkly different to the happy bounciness of the rest of the game.
I just see a japanese channel translating and reacting at your Touhou and other videos. Incredibile!! This is the title of one of his video "【月まで届け、不死の煙】海外の音楽Pが東方の名曲を初めて聴いた結果ww【海外の反応】". Now you are international
You talking about expecting the classic Zelda main theme to be apparent here but here is the thing(that i think you already noticed): Thats actually Link's character/The hero's theme at this point, so it makes sense that they wouldn't overuse it in this game
Thanks for this! I’m currently doing a Let’s Play of this game and it’s great to get these extra insights into the music while I’m still making my way into the game’s world! It’s (so far) such a light, vibrant game so this analysis feels spot on.
Cool video, thank you for making it! :) Quick remark about 6:21 : Actually those pitches come in that very order multiple times in the presentation of the theme, but with a different rhythm, and at the end of each "basic idea": G-D... C-F#-G-E-D-GG...A-(and here it is)[B-D-A]. This comes back three more times before the E minor version that you point out. :) Also, speaking of that E minor part, it's also cool that the tail end of each idea is a (tweaked) reference to the intro to the very first Zelda game: E...A-A-E-DCD... (the 4th of the original theme has been replaced by a 5th but otherwise all the other intervals are the same).
I’d love to see you cover some songs from Enotria: the Last Song next. The game only has a handful of osts, but the music it does have is amazing and has a unique Italian aspect to it that makes it pop. Heck, even the main menu theme slaps surprisingly hard. I’d recommend Spaventa’s and Arlecchino’s boss themes, in particular. Especially Spaventa’s.
Yeah, to me the soundtrack sounds very original indeed, for example Gerudo Town theme. I really like the OST, I can remember that Hyrule Castle Dungeon has a pretty cool theme as well imo. I'm really enjoying the game, it even has a boss from Oracle of Ages, that was amazing for me. That's it. ¡Adiós!
Can you please react to Red Dead Redemption 2's Soundtrack "You're my brother"? I feel like it has a lot to discuss Also apologies for not having something to say for the video itself

That makes total sense!

I was very surprised how much love the bass clarinet got in this game’s soundtrack

Yea, I think thats a really cool touch. It also reflects the story as she's "disguised" in the beginning.

I love this game, thank you for covering the music.

I just finished the game recently and it’s DELIGHTFUL. The music is absolutely gorgeous. You’ll have a great time. :]
If you're going to listen to more music from this Game then i highly recommend hyrule castle version 2 and the lanayru temple
Please review the entire OST 🤩🤩🤩🤩
This sounds so much like ghibli music. I was wondering if Joe Hisaishi wrote it😅
What a cozy music, indeed!
I was hoping you'd also listen to the swordfighter version of this song which is very nostalgic and adds more Zelda motif
Would love to hear your thoughts on the new take on Kakariko Village too. Its a beautiful track.
Davi you should react to FearofDark, I think you'd like his stuff
