I saw an ad yesterday for a server rack battery from Li-Time
Yes LiTime has a new comm flex unit out with communication capability it is at a higher price point than this Vatrer though! Good that there are options depending on your requirements!
How are they selling such a quality build for such a low price? Even Ruixu batteries are over $1000 and they are shipping right from china. I wonder if its because of the EV battery plants closing down. If people dont hog all the lithium for their cars there's more for solar batteries and that drives the price down due to lower demand.
That’s why I had to look it over before continuing filming. Hard to believe the value that’s there. Good for all those that need an affordable and quality unit. Lots of competition in the LiFePO4 market so this is helpful to the end user as well. But still how does shipping/logistics costs not increase the price more? I don’t know how they are doing it but hope they can keep up the value price point and keep the quality too!
16 314ah bats are about that price.That’s a 48v 314ah battery for same price.Add box and balancer needed.
The raw material prices have continued to drop as production has ramped, and possibly overshot demand a bit. And the vendors may be anticipating tariffs increasing so are making hay while the sun shines.

No communications ports. Although the BMS does support one. How well does the battery work with a Hybrid inverter?
I’m using it with an AIO inverter. I have the inverter settings set conservative. Before lowering the cutoff for the capacity test I had low voltage cutoff @48.0, low capacity warning @50.0V.
Do they advertise you can mount the way you are vertically?
Yes vertical orientation is approved by the manufacturer! That’s why they have the cell hold down plates installed!
Does this have a pre charge resistor to prevent high inrush when you throw the breaker?

Signature solar has brought out some new products. If you are helping someone build a system the Flexboss21, 12000xp or 6000xp are good values and very reliable.
I’m installing a new to market Sungold 10K hybrid soon for a friend he gave me permission to film and will document the installation process.

Omg! WHY and WHY retailers recommend 58V charge voltage??? that is the absolute maximum?! After 55.2 volts no LIFEPO4 cannnot absorb any more energy,and also the balance should happen from and above 55V for the individual cells in the pack! if You charged/charge it to 56volts,thats more than enough to have full capacity,and balanced cells,if the BMS is set up correctly....
I charge to 55.2 for daily cycling.
@@THEOFFGRIDMOUNTAINHOMESTEAD That is perfect,i use this voltage for absorb too,and float at 54.8 volts.Andy in the offgrid garage has all the tests and result,about LIFEPO4 charge and discharge curves,voltages and capacity. If you charge like this to 55.2,You are not stressing the battery,and also they can balance out.Its perfect voltage.
I set float @ 54.4 in winter and 54.0 for summer. Absorb/charge always 55.2 regardless of season.
