I like how Lori started raving about the socks when she realized she would be investing in them. She's pretty clever at boosting the sales wrapped in "just her opinion" lol
Yeah not gonna lie- that was a BOSS move by a BOSS woman for real. The psychology behind the moment she realized that they would go to 25 even after the counter- was some high level stuff.
You knew Lori was going to make an offer the minute she started doing an infomercial at 3:50.
Immediately, I said, I Want! But put off by 32-40. Hopefully Lori can bring the price down. I'll buy. I didn't know Lori was a pro dancer, good figure. She's so cute.

I'm gonna assume that the other sharks left this one for Lori in particular because she has the "Educate & Demonstrate" platform. They do that sometimes so that the remaining shark can get the highest equity possible for the level of expertise.
That’s what happens when you only have one party to negotiate with. It’s not a groundbreaking thing.

I am shocked that they weren't leaping to get a piece of their company. Bombas sell for quite a lot despite not having a grand purpose like these do. I got myself a few pairs of their performance socks and they provide INSTANT relief! They deserved more recognition than this honestly

As a dancer who has these socks, I can tell you, these are awesome! I highly recommend them!
Kevin being out of the deal seems to be sense of relief for them when they said thank you.
Kevin has done some deals that were great for the entrepreneurs. He has quite a network, social presence, team. It's not what you "give away" but what you get. You can't buy these guys time. They get approached daily with requests.

I was a gymnast since childhood and danced ballet since 3. Only those who have been athletes will understand this product. I'm like Lori, I don't like socks! However would buy these simply because I understand the benefits. I live a ligament injury caused by gymnastics. I wish they had long over the knee/thigh versions.

I can’t believe how many people in the comments don’t understand this is a health and wellness product not just a sock. Their price tag is fair in my opinion
Selling the patent, or even the whole company, to companies like Nike, Adidas, or Puma, really is the most viable way forward. They need to continue the research, that's expensive, and also they need to fight all the time to push the unit price down, for that reason they need to partner with some party with a huge budget and can manufacture at a huge scale

Compression socks can be expensive. My mother had leg and foot issues. A pair that are so,so can run 50 dollars.
I teach dance and have 3 pairs because they are that great. The dance world considers them dance shoes which is why we don’t mind the price

@@damaiindah8587 not to you, but for people with foot pain likely yes. I had to wear compression socks for my calves working on concrete floors on my feet for 12 hours a day. Without them I couldn't sleep due to swelling and pain. I still had pain but it was manageable with compression socks. If something worked even better I would spend the money. I understand you would not and perhaps under any circumstances. But to respond "no" such as you did just understand you don't speak for me, you don't speak for others. I'm sure many other people out there would spend their money differently than you and have different values.

Considering all sharks agrees on the quality, surprised to see just one offer . Sometimes I feel sharks want quick return on investments with lot of existing sales rather than projected sales after exposure and their involvement.. once they scale the business and bring the cost down, they will explode especially with Lori!

There's a variety of diabetic socks & leg braces with a diversity of compression & price points.
Also have them with zippers for longer ones, to get maximum fit, as you cant get the narrow part over the calf without losing compression.

I remember growing up I used to wear plastic socks because my family didn't know best or probably because that's all what they could afford. 20 years later and I still have PTSD from the stink I had on my feet every day and all the embarrassment that goes with it 🤣 There's no way in the world I'm paying 40 bucks!!!!!! for a fancy pair of plastic socks, I don't care how comfortable they are. Team 100% cotton for the win 😁

If you're in pain and find something that alleviates it, you will spend because odds are you've already spent a fortune on other things that haven't worked.
Do you pay that in shoes? I wouldn't because I'm not on my feet a lot but I'd assume if I was I'd like them.
Really depends on quality the worth. I bought 20€ socks and they lasted 1 year in everyday use and I didn't sweat with them. Compared to cheap store socks which break in a day or two and get sweaty there can be a difference

Just generic good quality socks are expensive , it’s crazy to me how much they think those prices are expensive , premium basic socks cost that much easy, just basic compression socks are not cheap, but Lori to the rescue.
So if i jumped off a skyscraper with those socks on with NO PARACHUTE..any chance i can experience the comfort of those socks while airborne?

I will spend hundreds for multiple pairs of socks if it means my dancer can dance without pain and repetitive injuries. I just bought a pair of the joules shock as well as recommended it to another dancer who is dealing with an ankle injury. They are 100% worth it.
