- first gd golden lets go this was decently hard, took around 3-4 hours of playtime about. Def harder than abyss. I did it to improve my diagonals but I'm still not very confident with them :( 2 deaths to last room and they were both deaths at the diagonals

prolly worlds best platformer player at the moment. If he sticks with it he will definitely be the best.

im definitely not bad but i aint even close to the best I got a huge headstart with celeste but as the above comment says a lot of fangame players who are more better suited to this type of platformer are automatically better than me just by existing

Honestly I agree with the insane rating we all knew platformer ratings was going to be a little wonky at the start but now we got things rolling ratings are more clear.

Having no platforming experience whatsoever I’ve decided I’m going to go for abyss. I’ve already beaten tower after about 8 hours and watching your vids is so helpful for learning routes and timings. I wish you the best in your platforming experience.

Took me 8 alone for this level man I suck
TT22 took me 1 hour to complete from 0 with fairly extensive practice but nothing too crazy. The Abyss took me 19 and a half hours (severely underpracticed). The Abyss is waaaaay harder than TT22

I don't think people realize how impressive this actually is. Not just the skill, but the mindset to sit down and practice a level like this SO MUCH that you get consistent enough at the most miniscule inputs.
I think we're starting to see a major skill gap between the best players right now and people playing casually, which is concerning for the future of the rating system.
The amount of tiny micro adjustments and percision needed to do these checkpoints is absolutly insane. When I beat the level my whole body was tensing up from how unsatisfying each click is. I genunely don't understand how people enjoy this type of gp enough to do this. GG

I mean, not destroying the game is as simple as not rating levels from the perspective of players with many thousands of hours put into the game (such as Npesta), who clearly represent a tiny minority of the playerbase with outstanding experience and expertise. If you did so, everything up to Electrodynamix would be relegated to the Easy and Normal levels, and easy demons as well as some hard demons would be just Hard, which makes it quite clear how unreasonable it'd be.
Starting to see a gap? Demons have been impossible for casual players for years

nahh i think for extremes tower should be baseline entry this just has too many checkpoints regardless of anything else
Beating something at this difficulty deathless this quickly (respectively, this obviously took an immense amount of time) that was not intended to originally to be deathless kinda proves it’s not an extreme demon.

Massive congrats on this, youve definitely proven yourself to be what is probably one of the best platformer players in the game currently, so im super exited to see what next hard thing you tackle next in platformer mode! Also, since this is based off of iwbtg fangames, ive been hearing that you might try out some at some point in time, which as a fangame player myself, id be really excited to see you do, if you do happen to try some out, it would be awesome to see you stream them (especially the more well known ones such as iwbtg (ps make sure you play the remastered version of iwbtg if you do, and boshy, among others), but if you happen to not do so that is understandable, but anyway, ggs again on this, as well as max moons!

I think beating infinity trials might help with diagonals a bit since there's a lot of those in that level. though it is very short and got very frustrating for me

dude.. since the release of gd it took so many years for people to be able to take down the hardest (classic) challenges, including ICDX, cataclysm, and bloodbath but when platformer mode was released, which an entirely different style of play is added which includes two more buttons, people are already beating crazy levels like these and making crazy runs. this confuses me how crazy good people are at geometry dash itself.

You are clearly very good at Plats, but are you good at the regular levels? Im just curious because in my experience I have so much more skill in the platformer levels due to me playing many of those games in the past. Im about easy/medium demon level usually in the regular game lol

i feel like IWBTG should be like the entry level platformer extreme. Things like chromaside, dark passage, etc, theyre insane demons for what they do. iwbtg is full of very hard timings that is especially not insane demon friendly. Sure people like you who have either played celeste or other 2 platformers with tight timings would think this would be to easy for its difficulty but at the skill of the platformer gd players right now this would be extreme. some ppl think acu is extreme but its still extreme because many ppl collectively agree that acu is a beginner friendly extreme. The abyss is miles harder than iwbtg, and the worlds hardest game also feels like an entry extreme. sure when this is outdated and years later when hopefully more updates like 2.3, 4, etc are out maybe this would be insane with how many platformers there would be now (unless another 7 year wait for updates) but rn for what this is at, extreme. (im only on the third room of iwbtg so idk exactly...)
