What you are demonstrating at 1:10 is a locus of points for a _line segment_, not a _line_. So you are solving a different problem.
But even then, you are not doing it correctly. To correctly construct a locus for a line segment, you would have to find touching points, where two parallel line segments touch two semicyrcles. You would have to construct perpendiculars at A and B to find intersections with the circles, rather than doing it "by eye". Drawing "by eye" is called "sketching", not "constructing".
