Charmed Complete Series DVD Set: Limited Deluxe Edition Book of Shadows Unboxing and Review

Guess who's back with another Charmed video? Given that my obsession with this show (the 1998 version, not the 2018 version ew bye) is never going to die, I thought I would do another Charmed video. What makes this occasion all the more special is that in real life, Shannen Doherty (the actress who plays Prue Halliwell) had an adorable sisterly interaction with Rose McGowan (the actress who plays Paige Matthews-Halliwell) along with Holly Marie Combs (who plays Piper Halliwell) under the Charmed label at 90s Con with other Charmed alumni present: Brian Krause as Leo, Dorian Gregory as Darryl, and Drew Fuller as Chris. Sadly, the only person not present was Alyssa Milano (who plays Phoebe Halliwell) and Julian McMahon (who plays Cole Turner), but hey, I'll take what I can get until this whole fantastic set someday meets up with each other during a convention or other circumstances (like a reboot/revival perhaps?).
For anyone who wants to jump right into when I start unboxing, you can use the timestamp of 3:26 ( i think lol). Basically, I tell you a little but about what's been going on in my life before I present the Book of Shadows DVD complete series limited deluxe edition of Charmed, which is a super gorgeous set that's got 6 discs for each seasons stacked all up in there plus an exclusive 49th bonus disc that any Charmed fan can appreciate.

I got this right when it came out back in 08. Of course it's a very rare find these days and it's still one of my favorite media releases. I had the standard version as well, but I eventually just gave it to a friend. One great aspect of the limited deluxe version is the foam inserts; no cardboard inserts & glue on the discs like with the standard.
Ikr? Studios just don’t put this kind of effort in collectors items anymore :( The foam inserts are the best incentive for the limited deluxe edition ✨ I’ve heard some horror stories about the cardboard inserts for sure
I decided recently o get this set and then I found out that the deluxe set existed, so I kept my eye out for that. I found it this week on fb marketplace for 100 dollars, which is phenomenal, plus 15 shopping. I actually just paid today and don't have it yet so I'm just so excited to get it that I'm watching the unboxing videos on it lol. I plan to eventually get the blurays and put them in the book instead, and then someday to make my own version that I can work the reboot 4 seasons into also. I know that it's not very popular with us original-series Charmed fans but it had its own appeal and I am a completist so I think it would be cool to have a BOS that's all-inclusive of the whole Charmed world.
Omg that’s actually such a cool idea! I never even considered a complete collection that included the reboot (I’ll be honest, I’m not fan 😅) but I’m so looking forward to that project! Also, there’s a German complete series release that has the Blu-Rays housed in a book of shadows ✨

The spell to call the matriarch line has the truth spell too on that page 😂 I have the standard set and wondered if it was on the deluxe.

@@manicmediadream it’s not I noticed it immediately when I purchased my dvd book too. But when I got my charmed Book of Shadows Replica it was correct.
I had this delux one with golden pages before but sold it because I got bored of it and I want the real thing with the 500 pages lol
I would love to own the real thing. I’ve heard they go for 1,000 pounds though and I don’t even know where to get that kinda money LOLOL

One thing I will say is that I really wish they would have put the spells and demons per season and not mix them up. Other than that this looks amazing!
Ikr? It also would have been awesome if they had the Cole human form page with the picture reel of him and Phoebe. I always thought that was such a cute and bittersweet entry in the Book of Shadows.

Omg i love this I didn’t know this was even out I was like 12 when this set came out lol. I will try my best to find this. Also do they actually have a collection edition of the book with all the spells in it? I would definitely drop money on that
Oh definitely try to get it. It's out of print right now but you might find some copies on eBay. There are unofficial versions of the book with all the spells in it that people sell on eBay, Etsy or even their own websites. It's pretty wild and some of them are so expensive I was💀when I saw the price tag lol. Also, welcome to my channel! Always nice to have meet more Charmed fans! ✨

I got it from Amazon way back in the day. It’s out of print right now but you can sometimes find a used copy on eBay or at a thrift store

It’s currently out of print (I believe it came out all the way back in 2008) but you can find listings on eBay every now and then.
If you want to make a career out of reviews you need to stop interjecting your opinion (as a fan of the show I get wanting to voice your opinion) but as a bystander you included your personal opinions/feelings far too much. Thanks for sharing though.
