From the looks of it, joe caught buddy with a mean elbow in the neck. Buddy was hurting from it and just couldn’t recover so joe jumped on the opportunity.
To me it seems more like the guy strained his neck and every time they engaged afterwards Joe knew to target that

In Muay Thai, it is legally allowed to elbow the back of the head or the back of the neck if your opponent turns around. That is why when the ref was close, he didn't give joe a warning because he done nothing wrong
@@JamesJohnson-pz8pu damn that should be illegal .. I've seen a pro boxer got punched at the back of the neck and be paralyzed for his entire life
This has one of the great fears I have with the square rope ring, there's a chance you can fall off the ring when things get very rowdy. Luckily there are people at the side😅

Think he was complaining about being elbowed twice, but only complained about it when he was under heavy pressure, maybe slightly suspicious 🤷🏼♂️

it's muay thai not free fight, this irregular blow to the cervical should have disqualified him and made a draw. plus he was proud he deserves to get busted
You are allowed to throw shots to neck and back of the head in muay thai ;)
@@lewisvialliking not at all my friend it is consider as an irregular blow if it is intentional and in a dangerous area like cervical spine knees ankle.
There was an investigation joe was found to have no foul play and hence deserves his title
@@Dacke_7 he was pointing to the side of his head not to his spine... and you can hit to the neck my unknowledgeable friend... countless videos of guys getting knocked out that exact same way
