- Tremendous HBO miniseries which follows the life of the 2nd US president John Adams. The cast and the script are amazing. Paul Giamatti plays a very credible John Adams, David Morse performance and appearance of George Washington might be the best we have ever seen.
It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but as a history buff I love it.
The soundtrack is from the game Assassin's Creed III (2012), which is set in the same era late 18th century, during the American Revolutionary War. - Фільми й анімація
Absolutely brilliant HBO Masterpiece
This is by far one of the *_best_* miniseries HBO has ever produced, I think. All actors are GradeA+ brilliant! Giamatti as always at his best. And a big applause to Clancy O'Connor who played Edward Rutledge with such intensity! I had to Google who he was because at first I was wondering if he's Nicholas Hoult because his style somewhat reminded me of Hoult as Harley in The Favourite! LOL! I'm actually wondering if I'm the only one who saw the similarities of the two? 😊

Just watching the first episode of Season 1, that's where begin to see how much it all could have been, can be the controlled over ALWAYS United States of America, even if watch the whole series, (I did), but it begins to capture the historical critical thinking mind. See it CLEARLY. This is a series for those who do deep historical critical thinking about an important period of time for The United States of America, that is Oligarchy obviously reflecting the same nowadays. For example Hoover Institute senior fellowship professorate. (If I was a history graduate degree, what I'd do a PhD paper about. More controversial pointing out something like that online, than if just between academics to acquire a PhD. Then again God, illuminated my mind, and obviously wants me shining light online. Certainly feel like a Lonestar). The series reflects when the division between Republicans and Democrats began, almost immediately after the redactions and signing of The Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights. John Adams Republican, not a slaveowner, Thomas Jefferson Democrat, a slaveowner.
