My Dad was dying and he was frightened - how should i have helped him ? This is in my mind all the time that i didn't know how to comfort him. He didn't believe in God, but Mum did, and as he was actually taking his last breaths, i told him to walk towards the light because that was where Mum was and she was waiting for him. I hope that helped him, but it was the months before he died, he spent 3 months being frightened - that is no way to end your days. What should i have done better, he could talk to the hospice lady, but it was dueing covid and she only came twice and when she told me he was frightened of dying, i didn't know what to do.
