I've got mad respect not just to the dude on screen but the flow cam skater has a unique talent most people probably don't notice.
Filmers are underrated for sure, filming lines is HARD dude
Specially going up the stairs like for me its un-human doing that while maintain the subject in the same frame position the is no variation in speed while doing all this is just awesome.
Oh I notice. He skates likes he is in the flow state. As their name suggests. Key of egoism, autonomous ultra instinct, mushin, and the vernacular most people may recognize, flow state. This is its scientific meaning and I'd say it's bang on with how he skates flawlessly. "The flow state is a state or level of consciousness in which you feel your best and can perform your best. It is an optimal human performance state pursued by athletes, musicians and meditators. For several decades, athletes have been training to enter the flow state, also known as getting into the zone and the ideal performance state." Even I'm training myself to do this at will. For now all humans can do this spontaneously. Something like being on autopilot and a change in your perception of time. It's not an easy thing to train your mind to do at will.

the stuttering skater inspired me, but the tutorials on this channel made it achievable. i'll be throwing on skates for the first time in over two decades very soon - gonna focus on fundamentals the first few weeks/months. hope to be this fluid one day

Just my 2 cents: There's nothing wrong with using a 360 camera. If you don't like it, fine. But don't say it's "overused". If every skater in the world wants to hold their own camera, that is perfectly fine. Anyways... we CAN agree that Alex is a beast for this. Cheers

I always thought Alex was just too scared to follow Shaun some places. It wasn't til i saw all the gear he skates with in the reflection at 10:50 that I realized he just simply can't be vaulting over walls and shit. Mad props to you Alex
exactly what i thought. it's not a 360 camera, either, and he pointed at exactly where Shaun was the whole time... impressive. I couldn't do it without looking at the screen

I haven't rolled bladed since I was a young kid in the 90's

Blading inside underground carparks is next level, the surface smoothness and grip is near perfect. I miss the time i lived in an apartment with underground parking, you dont know what you have until its gone
I watch these & I'm like how my dad watched Jazz musicians back in the 1950s, like WOW and "Go man, YEAH!" kinda shit. I love this. I have *just enough* experience skating ice and inline to know how good Shaun is and to appreciate everything you both do. Damn, if I could be 1/10th as good as you guys, but you know, sometimes just watching the wizards at play is enough. You inspire but you're also a pleasure to just watch.

Might be a weird thing to say, but i'm kind of surprised you weigh only 73 kg, because you are going hard and sprinting a lot and probably have muscular legs. Idk, maybe it's just because I live in America and eat too much on rest days xD In the end of the day it's not just muscles that can be strong, but also tendons.

Inline Skateing is for everyone a little different, but in general everyone who does it, enjoys it a lot. In addition I feel free to express myself trough motion and style. Me takeing a bit of reality in my owen hands. Actively molding the city through my style and flow. Doing what I want were I want, but the city is and had molded me to. As a dedicated city skater I live with and whithin the city. Just doing my thing.
This is probably the video I've watched the most times on UA-cam. Gotta come back and revisit this one regularly. Hope you guys are doing great in life!
