Another tip if ur planning on spending the entire day in the park, save all ur fantasyland rides for after the fireworks. Once the fireworks show ends, many parents leave with their young children making fantasyland ride wait times about 5 minutes most of the time. The only exclusion to this may be Peter Pan which is usually about 30-40 minutes max wait at this time which is still better than earlier in the day. Hope this is helpful! :)
I have a tip! Go to Pirates of the Caribbean at night because the line gets from 15 to 0 minutes
oooh that's a good one! Many rides do have shorter waits during nighttime entertainment like fireworks or Fantasmic too!
First I know this video is over a year old but I wanted to thank you for posting it. My family and I are going to Disneyland for the first time ever in April 2017 and we are so excited.
I was born and raised in the Anaheim area so I've been here many times since 1984 to the point I don't go as much because I got bored of Disneyland lol. I can give tips. Believe it or not at one time Disney was a "pay per ride" type of theme park up into around 1982 or so. Anyhow I've done Annual passes, taking the OCTA Bus Route 543 that takes you almost to the front gate, or I would walk up from Katella Avenue, that thing. First off get the Disneyland app for your phone. It's official from Disney so it's accurate per the minute. You'll see wait times for each ride on the virtual map of both theme parks. I can go "oh, Thunder mountain 40 minutes but Splash Mount is 10 minutes, and I'll go from there". If I saw DCA is slow, I would pop over there instead. Pirates, Small World, and Peter Pan get crowded fast. Thunder Mountain by 11AM...forget it at times, but at night not as bad. In the summer time Small World can get 60+ minute wait by mid-day so in the summer hit that first. Why? Because in the heat people use Small World as a cool off break and sort of a rest stop (in a boat lol) as it's a longer ride while on the other hand Mark Twains boat ride was empty in the summer because of the heat. Toads ride...depends. Pirates especially during the summer months can get crowded but not so much at night. I skip Toontown, nothing there for me so I can't say much about that. Weekdays are better to go, still can be crowded, but not as crowded. Get your tickets before hand if you can (online) so you don't have to wait an hour on line buying your ticket then another 20 minutes getting through the security and gate. Best months to go are January and February and September (back to school months) oppose to April and May and June which is "perfect weather" season or spring break. If you're booking a trip to Disneyland from afar, check and make sure both the Anaheim and Fullerton school districts aren't having spring break or prom week or grad night the week you plan on coming in, if they are then change your week, because the parks are mobbed during spring break and prom week to almost being unbearable with literally bus loads of teens coming in during prom night and grad night, some park hopping between Disneyland and Knotts. If you live in the area, check for possible or drizzly raining days...I've seen the park literally EMPTY on minor drizzle days. I would hit the stores (I don't buy anything) LAST. I see newbies and tourists hit the stores first in the morning and by the time they get to the rides, the rides have long wait times. There are stores outside of Disneyland along Harbor Avenue too where that Mickey Mouse doll is 50 percent cheaper. I would window shop the Disneyland stores at night before I left back in the day...don't waste the 8-11AM time shopping and visiting the stores...save it to night before you leave if you want because the rides will get long waits while you're shopping. We also use to hit the rides during night parades. When the Main Street Electrical Parade was going on...we would literally walk right onto Pirates or Haunted Mansion with no wait time as most of the park is watching that. I refuse to wait no longer than 20 minutes for a ride. There's no point in spending an hour to go no a five minute ride. I know some tourist or out of area visitors or on a short time scale of about one day. Hotels...never stay at the Disneyland Hotel. It's a rip off, and has been since I've been going to Disneyland since 1984 as a boy. Near by hotels like Motel 6 and Howard Johnson's, a mile walk away with their own free bus transfer to park, are half or more in price. At the time of this posting, Mote 6 (which is actually very nice and clean) is only $65-$85.00 a night compared to Disneyland Hotels $350.00 a night. Also don't get breakfast at the theme park and pay there 100 percent or more mark up fee. Eat across the street. Right across the street from the Disneyland (Harbor Blvd and East Shuttle Area near Katella Avenue) is an IHOP, Denny's, and Mimi's Bakery and also along Harbor Blvd and Katella there are plenty of other places to ect, and even a 7-11 that sells $1.00 burgers. What we started doing by the early 1990's is just go at night. We would walk through the gate at around 5PM or 6PM and stay to midnight or 1AM when they had longer hours. As the tourist and one dayers were wrapping it up or standing/sitting along Main Street waiting for the parades, we would get where we wanted or hit a few rides with ease to the point one time the lady conductor at Toads Ride was sitting there reading a book as it was empty (serious).
we will visit Paris from 5th to 7th October.6th we are planning to visit Disneyland. Where can buy tickets? we like to visit Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios, both in one day
Thank youuu!
go when the super bowl starts .. barely anyone will be there
lmaoo 😂😂
Actually a pretty solid idea
Single rider line along with fast pass is a great one two punch. Also hit haunted mansion, pirates at night, no line and about 90 minutes saved
I'm sure people know about this already, but ehh, I'll say it anyways. Be kind to the employees around you, or get on their good sides. Because chances are, you might get an Attraction Readmission Pass. Basically, it's a fastpass that allows up to six people to go on any time to a certain ride (either by choice or specific). There was a time when I went with my friends and we wanted to go to Space Mountain, but the wait time was 90 minutes and it was thirty minutes to closing time. Somehow we got one of these passes and rushed to Space Mountain for our last ride of the day. An best of luck to first time goers!
+WonderAsh that's a great tip! Even if you don't get anything back, the cast members have to go through so much and deal with angry people all day. Every time we go out of our way to acknowledge what a great job they're doing or even just being polite and kind to them brightens their day a ton! So far this is one of the best tips I've seen.
Kindness! One year, during Christmas time, The Haunted Mansion's line was insanely long, and as I was lining up I told a cast member she looked beautiful in her costume and I started walking away, but she called after me and I got a pass! Always be kind!
I would kindsider myself a Disney local, I don’t live in the same town but I live 3-4 hours away and go consistently. We just went to
I NEED HELP I KEEP WATCHING DISNEY LAND VIDEOS AND I LIVE IN CANADA
That sounds like a great problem to have!
oh my god hi
hi!
Come to Disney!! +indierules123
Andrew Castle i would love too but no my parents won't let me
Hmmm...as someone who has never been to a Disney park before (but really want to) I was confused by a lot of your terminology, like magic mornings or fastpass. I've seen looked em all up, but if you're doing a vid for newbies, you might want to dumb it down a bit more.
Still, great to hear your tips and tricks, so thanks!
+Moo Cartoon Great point! I'll be sure to explain things a bit further in future videos. I appreciate the feedback.
Go to Indiana Jones first! It's closest and easy to get to, then hustle to Space Mountian! Matterhorn doesn't have a bad line so do that later.
Indy is always closed early in the day it seems! Plus I don't want to run all the way across to Space.
I go to Disneyland every month and my favorite tip is to get look at your fast pass ticket because it will show you the time you can get your next one so you don't always have to wait until you use the fast pass. Next, save the water rides for early morning or late night they are usually a very short line.
You can bring in your own water bottles and they do have refillable filtered water stations there is one in the tomorrow land terrace and believe it or not the sinks in the bathrooms are filtered water so you can refill them there as well
My big tip is to KNOW the park so that you CAN strategize. (Familiarize yourself with the map on the Disneyland website and which rides have fast pass). If you don't know where everything is then you'll be walking from one end of the park to the other which wastes time. Know what is near. Also, make a list of your must-dos. Even a seasoned Disney veteran can't do "it all." Decide what you're okay with missing out on.
Last, allow your plan to be interrupted by Disney magic. If you're on your way down Main Street to go on Space Mountain and see Alice and Mad Hatter playing musical chairs, ALWAYS STOP. Is that Peter Pan wandering around? FOLLOW HIM.
Yeah, you should definitely know your way around before you get there! Study a map! Good stuff!
This video was very helpful. I'm going to Disneyland in May for my senior trip. Thank you so so much!!!!!!!!!
Thumbs up if you learned something! And subscribe for more tips!
Im going to Disneyland soon😄🍩😎😊😇

+Leona Sulemani wait... disney land or disney world...
I hope you have a good time 😁😁😁😁😁

+Agus de Olea How was it? :)
I'm going for my first time in 6-7 years next week! I'm stoked! Thanks for these awesome tips!!
Breanna Morvay doesn't make sense to someone like you 😚 obviously meant that I haven't been to Disneyland in 6-7 years so that was my first time going again lmaoZ
THANK YOU for the amazing video!!!!
At 7:40 a girl jumps in the backround😂
See the Paint the night parade, it is worth waiting for. watch from beginning of parade route then go to space mountain afterwards. They Jack up the wait time for space mountain during/ after the parade because of how they predict it will be after the parade. also one HUGE thing to remember if you have a park hopper is that the parks fastpasses systems operate independent of each other so if you time it right and are ok with walking between single rider and fastpasses for both parks you hardly even have to wait for much big rides.
+Daniel Green those are great tips!
Thanks !! Great video
I appreciate the tips Thanks 👍🏻
I posted below but wanted to remind even more for out of area or out of state trip planners to try to avoid booking during prom week and spring break and grad night as both the Anaheim and Fullerton school districts are either closed or have stuff going on. Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm are packed beyond packed to the point of not even being funny so it's large crowds, and long wait times, and rowdy teens all over the park. Sometimes bus loads of kids come in during grad night or park hop between Disney and Knotts. Also the week before school resumes in August is crowded too. However...the week and second week AFTER the first week of school starts is usually calm especially on the weekday of that first week of school resuming where all the kids are back to school and not at Disneyland meaning less wait time on rides. I live in the Anaheim area (born and raised here) so I speak as a native :).
Always try to save Nemo's Submarine Voyage until the end of the night. The line gets significantly smaller near the end of the night while the fireworks are going on. Works every time for me.
Odalys Figueroa True. But it ALWAYS makes me fall asleep after a long day. The same goes for the Tiki Room
This video was very helpful! Planning to go to Disneyland around the 1st-2nd week of July! Make more videos like these!
Glad to be a help, I've got more on the way soon!
Here's another vid with more tips. ua-cam.com/video/gwKp7gSkv5M/v-deo.html
Make shure to use ride max it's something you can get on your computer and laptop that prints out a schedule on all the rides you want to go on and what time to get a fast pass
Whenever navigating through the park try to stay to your right hand side. Not only does that make cast members jobs easier to help you get to where you want to go but its also going to help yourself out. You dont drive on the wrong side of the road expecting to get to where you want to go quickly, do you?
I'm taking my best friend next summer after we graduate as our graduation present. It's going to be her first time and my like millionth so I'm soooooo excited, but I'm hopping around getting as many Disney hacks as I can, so thank you for helping. :)
Of course thanks for watching, be sure to check out my 2nd video for more tips
Very helpful video, I really enjoyed is it! Do have a video or can you explain how FP works on the app and how to get the most out of it in detail, for a first time visitor? Thx so much
Thanks for the awesome tips!!! In October I will be going to Disneyland for the first time ever!!! I'm so excited but I'm also a bit worried. I'm a bigger person and I'm worried about fitting on the rides. Would you mind messaging me about your experience or even making a video.
I always try to go to radiator springs racers first because that ones is incredibly long
Thanks for those tip I have been searching for some good and helpfull tips because I'm going soon😋😋😋😋😋
I've been to Disneyland numerous times and I will use these while I go. I'm going in four more. Day I'm am very excited once I am done I'll tell u how it helped me
+That One Person nice I'll be there in 4 days too!
I got to Disneyland all the time and the trick is to always get on the rides that are anywhere from 10-20 min. Any longer wait it out. Until the line gets short. Unless it’s space mountain make sure it’s 35 min. Same thing with Cars. And incredicoaster
We usually hit Splash Mountain first - you can usually walk right on, ride in your own private log, and sometimes ride 2 or 3 times without leaving the log!
Worst case scenerio is that you have to walk around and load again... no wait.
Oh - and on the way get a FP for either Indy or Big Thunder.
Awesome Tips Mr. O!! #TDOC
THANK YOUUUUU! Ima go to Disneyland next month
To save time, I know from cast members, go to one land, do everything you want there and then go to the next one, that way you don't walk back and fourth.
Great video!!!
My birthday is coming up July 20 and I was wondering if u have any tips for me I'm 16 going onto 17. But I will be going to California Adventure. Thanks for the good tips!!!
Dude, I use the exact mountain tactic! It’s amazing!
Best way to gave the most fun is if at all possible go during the week Tuesdays are nice. a tip for season pad holders is when it is raining grab a hoodie an umbrella and enjoy s mostly empty park
Just subscribed! Thanks so much☺Keep it up dude your awesome.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. I recently put out a video on how to get Real Dole Whips at home, and coming soon, a video about real Disneyland Churros at home too!
+The Dan-O Channel Thats so awesome. You're an amazing youtuber!Possibly my favorite.I love disneyland food, can't wait to try it!
+Girl CHILL oh if you love Disneyland food, check out my friend MigVer over at Magic Journeys! He has the best Disney food videos and some great Disneyland History on his channel. Tell him I sent ya!
+The Dan-O Channel I will! Thanks so much:)
Thank you!!
+Jennifer Campbell no problem
Thank you for this very helpful. One question though, about how many rides can you get done in those opening hours? Like most of the popular ones?
During the fireworks many people tend to stop where they are at to watch them and that's the perfect opportunity for you to get in a line because people either don't get in line or get out of the line to see the fireworks.
Very true! same thing during the nighttime parade/Fantasmic when it's running.
We will be going there next week , we’re thinking of doing the three days but not sure if to do the park hopper. Is it worth it? Will it be too much going back and forth?. Thanks
Thank you!
Wish I saw this video before I went to DL for the first time a few months ago.
You got video bombed at 7:39. lol
Haha yeah, I wanted to freeze frame it and point her out but for everything else took so long to render I decided not to add any more work.
Haha. I hear ya.
How long do you wait in line once you have the fast pass and go back at the designated time ??
What me and my family does it the opposite actually. We get there extremely early, like you said, but we try to stay in one area of the park and hit all the rides in the area at a time then move on and stay until Disneyland closes at midnight. We get to go on every single ride in every single part of Disneyland in a day so we hit everything, WITHOUT FAST-PASSES because we're lazy, and waiting gives us something to do I guess :)
I'm going on Friday can't wait 😆😆😆😆
+Desiree Vasquez have fun!
Omg, I'm so exited!! My boyfriend is taking me to Disneyland for the first time!! I'm doing as much research a 15 year old girl can do!! lol, I'm so weird, but please wish me luck. :)
the girl that jumps in the video at 7:39 lol
Great video -- makes me want to get out to Disneyland so badly!! I've forgotten how much the new fastpass+ system over here has changed how we do the parks!
Yeah, the fastpass+ system in wdw is way different. I liked it though. I wish I had more notice when I went on my trip for the #Disneyside creator conference. I would've loved to have planned it out more.
The Dan-O Channel I think the planning part is both a pro and a con. Locks you into a plan a bit more, but does ensure that you get to hit at least three must-dos. But definitely different than the old paper system. Do you think they'll ever bring fp+ to disneyland? Would you want them to?
I don't think I would want them to. and I don't think we need it. Wdw has way more to offer in terms of quantity of attractions. So a little organization helps. I think it could make things worse at Disneyland. Fastpass as a whole changed the "economy" of waiting in line. It created clogged walkways, and was created during a weird era, where disney was driven by people who were from retail and the real drive behind fastpass initially was to get people out of line so they could spend money on food or souvenirs. It changed the way we judge whether or not a line is too long. While I make sure to use it as it much as I can, I do miss the old days before fastpass!
ask the cast members for magic they might get you into a ride without waiting
Good tips!
For a week in January I am taking my hubby & 9 year old son to Disneyland. (I'm probably the most excited member of the family) :-) Haven't been down there in 26 years!! Anyway, do you feel a week is adequate time to experience Disneyland, California Adventure and Knotts Berry Farm? Taking advantage of things like fast passes, is a week enough time to "do it all?" Advice?
mena94x3 yeah I definitely think that's plenty of time. January is usually a great month to go because of lower than average traffic. But this also means a higher number of attractions may be closed for refurbishment. If you check Disneyland's park hours page, leading up to your trip you can get a better idea of what to expect and plan accordingly. You should be able to do many things more than once on your trip and even take some time and just enjoy the characters and atmosphere. Have a great trip.
i have a question might sound dumb. i know we can leave the park and return. how does that work? Do we need anything or just the tickets? love your tips and tricks I've watched them a million times haha.
+Jaydi Rodas they stamp your hand on the way out and when they scan your ticket on your way back in, they shine a light over your hand to see the stamp. Pro tip: smell the stamp right after the place it, it smells like lemons!
When you go to Disney California
Adventure always get on radiator springs racers first
+The Killer Slay good plan!
is getting on some rides THEN eating breakfasts good plan?
Thanks for the tips! How many days would you suggest for the week of march 7-11? I dont plan to get on all the attractions but would like to get on quite a few.
yass, but it was hard to uderstand!!!
The mountains are always my first go-to's (plus Indy). But just being there from 8-10 is helpful! I feel like you can get through all the big ones in those first two hours. Also, definitely try to get stuff done while you're there. If you just got off Indy and Pirates or Jungle Cruise are looking good, might as well do it while you're there! Also, thinking about where you're waiting in line is important. Star Tours isn't one I ever feel rushed to get on because most of the line is air conditioned and entertaining. Compare to Space Mountain where you may be lucky to get some shade before you're inside but that line is BORING.
My tip is for my fellow mint julep/beignet lovers! If you've got the time, skip the mint julep bar and order inside the sit down restaurant Cafe Orleans. They will keep topping off your mint julep as long as you can keep drinking it!
Elizabeth Mach as for the beignet, the jazz kitchen in downtown disney has the best in the park!
ugh I wish I could live in California and go to Disney like 24/7 lmao
+Jolie Alexandra I wish I did too. I travel from Vegas for all my trips. Cali is way too expensive!
I liv in CA and I'm going tommorow
One kinda of obvious is if you don't want to watch the big parades cut through the stores, and if you find a ride you just love to go on at around 12 or 11 (depends what park and if the color show will be on) stick by that ride one night me and my sister were able to go on indiana jones 7 times, in the last five minutes when there was no more line every one just shouted again! again! we had some really cool "cast members" operating the ride
Yes! Been like that since I could remember even back in the 1980s. I loved the Electrical Parade not because of the parade (I don't bother to watch) but because it literally meant walking onto almost any ride without a wait time.
Go during the week always get there super early and I always get a fast pass for a big ride like space mtn but hem go on a smaller one while you wait
Then
+sunny6977 midweek is always a good bet!
what ticket is better for the whole day?
Hey you used the same "intro" sound effect as the Veritasium channel! Haha :D
I actually would NOT recommend hopping from park to park, unless you can visit often. If you're a first timer, stick to one park per day. When my son got to go for the first time, we went 3 days and paid for park hoppers just for the extra magic hour. . One day at Disneyland, one day at DCA and day 3 we used the park hopper option for stuff we hadn't done, or wanted to do again.
Now we both have annual passes.
Dj Nvs thank you for this tip , we're planning for 3 days also..
christina Martinez another thing is, on your California Adventure day, you can go to Disneyland for the last couple of hours when DCA closes.... with the park hopper. But I definitely recommend one park per day if it's your first time.
How fast are Hyperspace Mountain fastpasses running out usually? Thanks!
+Lauren Windley It really does vary based on the traffic of the day. Right now is typically the slow season but since the 60th anniversary Diamond Celebration kicked off, normal traffic patterns have been above average. Either way I'd recommend get your Fast Pass as soon as possible. or making it your first ride of the morning. If not expect at least a 45 minute wait if not more.
Thanks for the tips! First trip for our two year old in two weeks. Any rides you recommend for his age?
Xochitl Coin Any of the Fantasyland Dark rides, and definitely the attractions over at Bugs land over at DCA are perfect the little ones. Also pack a bathing suit or change of clothes for your kid, they have a nice splash park that little kids(and some adults) love. It's a great distraction if the park get busy and if it's hot out!
I did not know about the splash pad thank you!
Bring a reusable water bottle. They have filtered taps in the park that you can use. Bottled water is so expensive inside the parks, and if you buy 4 bottles at $4 each that's $16 right there gone on something you can get for free. Bring your own snacks like fruit and museli/granola bars with you as well, and skip buying snacks like pretzels and chips in the park. Again, it's crazy expensive. To save even more money skip having lunch and dinner inside the park and go to Downtown Disney instead. There is a Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney in Disneyland, as well as other chain cafes and eateries.
Great tip! definitely a huge savings!
im going to Disneyland on Saturday May 7th and i cant wait its gonna be my 3rd time going to Disneyland California
+Kim Marquez have fun!! If you haven't already tried it, you should get a corndog in Disney! They're delicious!! Im going through Disney withdrawls myself right now lol.
I'm gonna be there on the 7th too!
+Stephanie Gomez thanks
+farting burrito if it rains i might not go😞but if it does ill go May20th
"what have I done to deserve this?" lol!!😂😂😂😂
?
+The Dan-O Channel you said that when you were on autopia. 😛
ooooohh!
Go on splash mountain at night it’s always such a fast line, obviously.
Could you explain the fast pass situation I'm still s bit confused ? Also does the parking lot allow in and out privileges like the park ?
+Jorge O. Yes you can get in and out privileges when you pay for parking. as far as Fast Pass, only select rides at DIsneyland have "Fastpass" what you do is find the fastpass machines, usually located near the ride entrance, and insert your park ticket, the machine will give you your ticket back and another ticket with a return time to come back and enjoy that ride. Depending on how busy that day is and how many people already have fastpasses the return time will be later and later. You have a 1 hour window to return and enter the ride with little to no wait. At Disneyland all the rides are very good about posting current stand by wait times. when you have a fastpass you don't wait in the normal stand-by line but a shorter queue that moves much quicker. Again not all rides have fastpass available as an option.
+The Dan-O Channel awesome thanks I found this video very helpful one last question is the magic morning for everyone or just for people who stay in the resorts.
@Dan-O you should do a new one
I have a question it's probably stupid but I've never been to Disneyland. Do you have to pay for fast passes
That is actually a great question, No you do not have to pay for the Fastpass service. It uses your park ticket to assign FastPasses based on availability and is first come first served, so if it is a busy day, the Fastpasses will run out early. Also note, that not all attractions offer Fastpass, usually just the more popular rides with longer lines.
Do you need a Park Hopper ticket to go from Disneyland to DCA? or is that just in WDW?
Yes, you do need either a park hopper or you can get a single park ticket but your only get to go to 1 park on that day.
thanks. I wan't sure if that was only in Orlando
is it less packed on a weekday or about the same as a weekend?
Weekday. Sept, January, February are the slower times. Rainy or drizzly days I've seen the park about empty. Stay away during prom week and spring break and grad night as both the Anaheim and Fullerton school districts are closed or have stuff going on and the park is packed beyond packed. April, May, June are the busiest and the last week/weekend before school resumes in August.
We just went to disneyland this past Thursday, and my experience kinda sucked. Last went in second grade, so i was looking forward to all the rides i didn't go on (rollercoasters and the slow fairytale rides because we went to california adven. then and we went to disney park this time). me and my mom came later, and my brothers got there at opening. they had already done the rides i wanted to go on so they were all like, we aren't going on them. They only wanted to do rides they liked, nothing i wanted to do was taken into consideration. The only 'slow' ride we went on was haunted mansion, and they were barely alright with that. The parks don't suck, my brothers do, but I'm probably not going to be able to go for a long time, and im bummed because that kinda ruined it a bit for me ;-;
you shiny star you!!!!!!
Do you recommend I go to Disney land
+Red Skull I recommend that everyone go to Disneyland!
one tip is to use the app to see the wait time on your favorite rides
how many fast passes can you get in total?
+Lucy Garcia once you get your first fastpass there is a time printed at the bottom that will let you know when you can get another fastpass. The system in each park usually allows you to have 1 fastpass open at a time. Sometimes for busier rides your fastpass return time will be much later in the day, and the next fastpass will be available sooner. It all depends on how busy it is and how quickly the fastpasses are distributed.
if you are staying in The Disneyland Hotel take the Monorail in Downtown Disney
My tip would be to just wait until the very end of the night, especially for space mountain, I've seen the line wait time be up to 2 hours around 1pm and be only about 5 minutes when it's 5-10 minutes before closing. Also go on crowded rides whenever any event is going on like the parade or especially the fireworks. And finally the best fast passes to run and get early in the morning would be either radiator springs racers (because the wait time always is high there no matter what) or the new guardians ride (just because I know the lines are going to be ridiculous the first few weeks)
hopelovestyler I'm going to both parks in just one day for the first time. And I want to make the most out of it on our first Disney trip 😊 Any reccomendations on what ride to go first and what should I get fast passes on? btw, I'm a teen 😄
The rides with the longest wait time are radiator spring racers, guardians of the galaxy, space mountain, matterhorn and sometimes splash mountain. What I always do is the first second I'm at the park I run and get a fastpass for either racers or guardians because they're the ones that run out the fastest. Depending on how packed the park is, they could be gone by 12pm. You have to wait 2 hours between that fastpass until your next one so go on rides with shorter wait times like midway mania, california screamin etc. (get the app it helps a lot with wait times) and try to maximize your day don't be so caught up in rides that you miss out on the fireworks or the frozen show (they're both really good!) and just remember to have fun! And remember DCA closes before Disneyland so try to get all the rides at DCA first and then go to disneyland from 10pm to 12am and that's the best time to ride Indiana Jones, Space Mountain and Star Tours. The last hour there's literally no lines. I hope I helped and I'd love to answer any questions you have, hope your trip is amazing!
hopelovestyler Thank you so much! This really helped me since right now I'm actually doing a to-do lost since I gotta be ready ☺️ Btw, do you think we can like finish all the highlighted rides in both parks for just a day? This is really stressing me out hihi
+hopelovestyler great advice!
Definitely I do it every time I go, as long as you avoid super long wait times you should definitely be ok!
Where do you leave your bag?
Personally I carry everything with me in a backpack. But they have very spacious lockers at all Disney Parks!
7:40 😂😂
Hey how do you know if it's a magic hour day?
Veronica Reveles check the Disneyland website or app for the daily schedule
@@Dan-O thanks. How old was your son in this video?
What pass do you suggest that someone who wants to go once a month to get
+MEME KING It really depends on your days off, and budget. Many of the cheaper passes or even the ones sold to So Cal locals, are a great bargain, but they are blocked on weekend days. If you only plan on going on weekends, that presents a big problem. Here's a link to the Disneyland Annual Passes, browse the details and blockout days and see what works best for your situation! disneyland.disney.go.com/passes/
+The Dan-O Channel can I use these tips for Walt Disney world
ONCE A MONTH! I live in Illinois so I never been and I'm watching these just for fun cause I know I'll never go there
Did u see the lass in the background
what's the ticket price for both parks
+MexiTv Rodriguez www.Disneyland.com has all current ticket prices
thanks I appreciate it
1. arrive there before the park opens..
2. go to cali adv
3. go on cars (longest wait time in midday of both parks)
4. go on terror
5. go on screaming
6. head to disneyland get fast passes for either indiana or space
7. if space fast pass get in line for matterhorn
8. if indiana go ride big thunder/pirates/splash
and then go from there haha
+Jay Lapid nailed it.
One suggestion I have is this: DON'T bother with Fastpass on Indiana Jones Adventure! This may sound odd considering it is one of the most popular attractions in the park. However, your Fastpass merges in with the regular line as you enter the temple, and those of you that know Indy, once you enter the temple you still have at least 25-30 min of waiting ahead of you! My strategy for Indy is to hit it up first thing in the morning, or late at night when the wait is under 45 min.
True that, whenever i go, i still get one just in case, some times it's surprising when indy is about 20 -30 min long wait time from outside, so that fast pass will boost you up pretty good. And for those going for first time, early morning you MUST go to tommorow land, right now that is getting all attention because of star wars (which i LOVE) so get on as much rides as you can there then go to the rest 👌🏻
+Alexis Niz Update! I was just at the parks the past few days. Decided to use FP for Indy. We lucked out and actually got through pretty fast! Waited about 10 min :)
So true, also beware of star tours fastpasses very similar style.
What is the ride at @6:50 called?
Big Thunder Mountain!
Thank you! I plan to visit soon!
