Thanks man, that means a lot to hear. I really wanna grow this channel, and trying to figure out ways to make watchable content. Any suggestions are welcome.
ISADG I think you could make the audio more interesting? Add voiceover about what shot you were trying to execute, what disc, how it worked out, idk. But I think your channel will keep growing as long as you post consistently high quality videos like this one. There are already enough disc golf tutorials on UA-cam, not enough things like this
@Levi I thought about that. I kind of think i'm not clever enough to come up with compelling things to say. But i'll give it a shot on the next video. But thank you for the kind words. The positive comments and constructive criticism are definitely encouraging me to continue.
ISADG yeah you might be right that it’s kinda relaxing to just watch the footage and not listen to anyone talk. Idk which would be more popular. I think you could play around, as long as you have such high quality video and the editing is tight with no downtime it’ll be good to watch
You're doing a great job of making me want to travel 2,000 miles home to play these courses hahaha Great job man, I'm living vicariously through these videos!
Hey man, any chance you could come down to Calvert Regional Park in Cecil County MD? The course is only about 20-25 minutes from White Clay and is my home track. I'm also more than down if you need a guide/playing partner as well lol.
I may have lost count... was the +2? You were just a few inches low on a couple putts for that even or under round! I'm not sure you can continue to say you suck at disc golf anymore! =P If I'm ever in Delaware we're gonna have to play a round!
Yea, I finished +2 on the day. I think i'm gonna start logging my score with the overlays as well. I was super bummed with the missed put on 17, because I actually didn't know what 18 was gonna look like, and I think I had a chance to shoot even par if I didn't get a bogey there. I do feel like i'm getting better though, been focused on effective field work, and putting consistently. If you're ever in the north eastern corridor definitely let me know!
@@ISADG Your putts start pretty solid but what I've noticed is that you pull your hand back towards your body after the putter releases out of your hand. If you follow through towards the basket (some call it shaking hands with the basket) you'll find better results. In the picture below you'll see McBeth follows through towards the basket almost the whole flight until he's sure it's going in. imgur.com/a/7A1NdW4
@@willtrippe8982 I actually noticed that too. That particular putt I was obstructed by grass, but that happens a lot when I putt in match. specifically I noticed when I practice, my putting stroke is WAY smoother and more confident. In match, my brain doesn't trust it yet.. Not sure how to get there, but another thing to be mindful of. Thanks!
@@ISADG Putt through the chains, not to the chains & Shake hands with the basket on your follow through. Two best putting tips I was given early on! Keep it up man!
@@jockofthebush Definitely have to think about that. Its such a huge mental game. I feel so confident in my putting stroke in the back yard.. Any thought process stuff is definitely going to help I believe.
this is a super friendly course. i love it, and you do an outstanding job on these videos. keep up the great work.
Thanks man, I appreciate hearing the encouraging words.
really well produced man, nice work. Better than a lot of pro disc golf youtube!

Lol, there's a parody song in there somewhere.
I liked your course assessment at the end; keep doing that.
Thanks man. I'm getting a bit more adventurous in actually talking to the camera. It definitely felt weird at first, but now i'm getting used to it.
Great drive on 9. I really enjoyed this.
Some really nice drives on a lovely course.
Thanks man, really trying to tighten up my throwing lines

Somebody else had mentioned Calvert in a different video. I definitely want to try out as many as I can within driving distance.
what is your filming setup?
Just a go pro on a tripod.

Do you care to hear any tips to help you out?
