We do not have a single graft. Everything we grow is true down to the root ball. This is to collect real data on how the variety performs year after year.
Tye, I herd you are focusing on growing fruit for market. What varieties will you be selling in fruit form? Where in southern Louisiana will they be sold? Thanks
It's a goal of ours. It's also going to take a few years before it gets to that point. We have had discussions with local restaurants and a large grocery store that is here locally are interested. We will likely sell Red and Pink flesh variety and maybe a Yellow Skin variety.
@@Spicyexotics ooh thats a good one to share... talk about the root structures for each... I am very interested in hearing that... which ones are beefy... which ones are light... which varieties could potentially grow okay together in the same pot.. would LOVE to hear that... and I know many others who would too 😁

What is best fertilizer for Palora? They are extremely hard to grown in CA.
We don't use much fertilizer, instead, we recommend composted manure.
Why are they so hard for you to grow here(also from California)?
Do you think that Palora's pollen will be able to pollinate Hylocereus or other varieties?
Yes it will and we have successfully done this with two totally different species. Palora hybrids are on there way.
How long does the fruit take to ripen
This information will be posted on our website once this variety is released.
