You can't smoke in the casino. They've designated smoking areas for that. And by the way, casinos can be run only "off shore". Not permitted on Land. Could change soon though.

Goa is such a tiny state but it has given so many artist, players, intellectuals to India. Even the govan language is so musical to hear. And the govan food is just too heavenly... People may think I am from goa.. But no... I am not. I am just in love with this place.... ❤❤

16:10 As a local I'll answer the question.We do travel to the places where the tourists visit but not often.The sites shown in this video are just handful.There are so many other beautiful places to visit.
Yep, I have been there 5 times, and there is a lot missing in this video, especially those little things which are not known as perticular tourist spot, those which you find while travelling. Walking through forest road while raining is best experience of me apart from beach...
Goa is overrated. Andaman and Nicobar Islands has the most breath-taking beaches. 😻

Goa is not about beaches only, many things make Goa special, you won't have as much fun as Goa in Andaman or lakshadweep irrespective of pristine beaches
Anjan it's all about perspective. For me, fun is peace of mind and calmness. But maybe for you, partying is how you define fun. I have nothing against Goa but the beaches are over crowded and sanitation is bad.
OSR do you remember Amir, Saif n Akshay's movie 'Dil chahta hai' it has a lots of Goa shooting and specially the title song 'Dil chahta hai' was totally shot in Goa.
When you visit Tamil nadu, come to Ooty! If you love greenery. Don’t go to chennai, its very crowded
Wow ooty. Lots of eucalyptus trees n that yellow flower bushes . Been there in 1994. I love The botanical Garden of ooty, different species of pine trees. It must be very different now with all the development.

Lakshadweep is not for everyone, in terms of facilities it has close to nothing. Andaman on the other hand is a paradise but Goa has a different vibe. Goa is for party and relaxation, Andaman is for nature,beauty,clean beaches and waters, lakshadweep is you want to be totally offbeat.

Goa has an interesting history. It actually became a part of india in 1961. till then it was under the rule of portugese and india had to launch a millitary operation to evacuate them. Goa was actually in control of the portugese for abiut 450 years, twice as long as the british and when they left or were driven out the russian mafia took control of their underworld

Goa has a different culture, a different life, it's not like other tourist spots, you have to be there for a long duration to get the real feel.
Goa is so beautiful! I have been there 3 times and did different things every time. Also, watch the movie’Dum Maro Dum’ it’s set in Goa. Although, it shows a different side of Goa.

People think Goa is only abt party n beaches. ..but ders lot more beauty hidden within...The Temples ,Churches d dense jungles ..food n so on....locals...like me we go remote beaches for a night out (vosti ) n we enjoy der in open sky...whole night ...fishing drinking dancing cooking. ..just a whole different atmosphere. ..just pure enjoyment...
The Dudhsagar falls has a train track near, from where they see the heaven.
Too much music and narration. Scenic beauty is there but the video could have been better compiled. It just won't end.

1. Booze , it literally flows there cheap too , they have "feni" goa's in house drink made of Cashew , Cashew also are produced in bunch here.
2. Beaches
3. Food
4. Night life.
And at the bottom for scenary and wildlife and forts and churches.

This is how the whole western Ghat look like.. full of trees and greenary.
If you are starting from Mumbai I prefer you take the Konkan railway from Mumbai to goa and cruise ship back.
That bridge across the waterfall in the video is the rail bridge which gives a wonderful view of the waterfall.
Then from goa you can go all the way to the tip of South India which is along the coast.
The beauty of Goa is captured very well in the film " The Sea Wolves" featuring Gregory Peck, Rodger Moore and David Niven. The movie is thrilling too.
For a state with 1.5 million population, Goa gets around 8-9 million tourists each year. Beat that! We Goans are used to it now. Anyway, would love to be a guide when you guys visit Goa. Would be an honour

Even after end of British rule, Goa was ruled by the Portuguese until 1961. Goan culture and architecture has heavy Portugese influence though they massacred many local Hindus (google Goa Inquisition). It's a well-blended and chilled out place. Since many years, Hindus, Christians, Muslims, etc. have been living there harmoniously.
Goa is one of those distinct places in India where you can find pork and beef being sold freely. They have carnivals during Christmas and new year's eve. Their temples are rich and famous and their food is so mouthwatering, that you won't stop eating. Google Sorpotel.

You should explore the Himlayas too. I'm from Himachal Pradesh which is one of the Himalayan states of India. Its a beautiful place.
I visited Goa during Monsoons and it felt so much similar to Kerala.. Stay off the regular tourist routes and there are a lot of Gems to discover in Goa..

Btw Go Goa Gone was not shot in Goa, it was shot in Bali and Bankok mostly

I m from goa people here like to party but for them they don't interfere with u and wants the same from u here very peace loving people wants everyone one to chill ( like a ice chilled beer ) basic moto is to earn your bread go home have a glass of feni ( local alcohol) or any other which u like sit in your balcony with it at 7 in the evening with fried or barbecues fish till 8 or 9 and have food with your family and go to sleep
Education in Goa until 1961 was in Portuguese and after that in English, its has a very strong Portuguese influence as Portugal ruled Goa for 450years until 1961, and considered all Goans born before that as Portuguese Nationals, and hence can get Portugal nationality till date, the language the music is sung is in Konkani, but its not Goan Music its normally sounds like latin music.

Of all the things to see in Goa,me and my friends saw a ghost in Goa......we were 4 friends roaming around on bikes and it got late at one place and we were travelling down a empty road in moonlit cloudy night and we saw a naked woman atleast 7-8 feet tall and with long bushy hair with black as coal skin standing in the middle of the road after a turn....since we were driving so fast we passed her and we only saw her back and not her face...my other friend who looked behind said she was gone in an instant...it was so scary since she was so unnaturally tall and dark....we were spooked for the entire trip and went to churches and temples after that experience

Yes there are normal people who live normal lives and work jobs and work hard. Sometimes we locals don't have time to even go to the beach. It's different when you're a tourist and when you're a local.

Go from Mumbai to Goa by road if possible to experience exquisitely beautiful konkan Maharashtra and Karnataka (if a little de-tour wont hurt). Karnataka is as diverse and majestic state as one can be, full of rich wild life..
This doesn't show how crowded Goa usually is. The beaches are packed. Aside from Covid, of course!
