Rodney, thank you so much for such an awesome and thorough "Watch it Played" video! I never thought I would watch one of your videos for a game I created. What a moment!!! #BucketlistItem
Congrats on the game release, guys! As someone who has purchased meeple stickers multiple times from your Etsy, I was very excited to find our about Gnome Hollow :D
When all the tokens on the market are full for one colour, there seems to be one spot, apart from the 2x space, that's also free, can that be used over and over?
Hi Nancy! In the original rules I created, yes you can use the left over space. It is why I left one space open for each row. I believe that the rules released in the game box say no you cannot use it. So, I think its a house rules situation:) Hope that helps!
Rules question/clarification - @13:50 it is stated that I can connect path if there are my (same colored) gnomes and cannot connect, if they are different colored. But rule book , page 9, states that "Two unfinished paths that both have Gnomes on them cannot be combined into one.", not clarifying colors of gnomes. That is also how BoardGameArena is implemented. Not sure which is correct way.
When a second ring is formed using a Wildflower, it is a second ring. The Wildflower always closes a ring in the shortest possible path. Hope that helps.
Me and my friends played this at GenCon and we LOVED it! Once question that popped up for us is someone ended up with like 10 Blue Mushrooms so they broke it down and bought 8 and then exchanged another 2. Then they sold 4 yellow. Is that allowed? We weren't sure since the rules say two sets of mushrooms we figured it was OK even though it was 3 sells.
@AmmonAnderson we ran into a question we had hoped you could answer. Can you use two wildflower tiles side by side with say a single corner tile, and that be considered a 3 tile ring?
It's gotten to the point that when my gf hears the intro music she yells "Nooooo!" cause she has figured out I will probably be spending money soon.
😂❤
Please extend my apologies to your girlfriend... unless she's been enjoying the games too, in which case: you're welcome!
@@WatchItPlayed She does! She's guilty of watching a video and then spending money too... I'm just more guilty :)

A real pleasure Ammon. I never thought I'd be turned into a Gnome... so there you go! :)

Just picked this up at Gen Con and really looking forward to diving in! Though, I’ll be missing my custom Rodney gnomes. Haha!
Have a great time playing, and hope you had a fun Gen Con!
I want a Rodney gnome! Very excited, I didn’t attend GenCon, but a friend did and bought the game for me. Hoping to play this Sunday.
Have a great time playing Margie! That's a good friend you've got there :)
Great video Rodney! Thanks! And love those Rodney gnomes 😄
That was quite an unexpected surprise :)
This game looks fantastic. Looking forward to playing this. Great video. The designer is also very handsome.

@@WatchItPlayed me too! Really looking forward to the launch at Gen Con!
Rodney Gnomes! Nice!
An unexpected treat :)
Playing our first game shortly after lunch! Took me this long since purchasing at Gen Con thanks to Covid knocking me out of commission for last week!
I don't think you were alone in needing some recovery time - hope you're fully on the mend now, and have a great time playing!
Amazing video as always! :)
Thank you kindly!
Looks fun, I'll have to keep my eyes out for a copy
I hope you get a chance to try it!

It can't be (according to the published rules), but as you see below, the designer did suggest that's an optional house rule.
1st! Buying this now.
Thanks for being the first to check out the video - I hope you have a great time playing!
Question…. What if I have a completed ring, but the center does not have a tile. Can I still place the sign, or must I play a tile to fill the space?
@@powzar76 You can have empty spaces in the middle of the ring, the ring just has to be a complete path.
@@WatchItPlayed thank you!
These videos are dangerous to me.
I innocently click and then before I know it, I'm looking at prices and adding to wishlists 😥
I'm glad to know you've enjoyed the games you've seen here :)
👍🌹🌟💖💎
Great video! Gnome matter what your videos are always good.
Henri, your comments always show what a fungi you are!
Excellent teach as always. Thanks Rodney. We can’t wait for our pre-order to arrive.
Wife has custom gnome envy. 😊
Ha! Only problem with mine is he flipped a box and it won't ever come down!

I'm as confident as I can be that the video is correct, having discussed this with the publisher and designer.
When a wildflower has completed a circle and then another circle uses that same wildflower are both circles then counted as one big one?

If I understand correctly, they an 8 set, a 2 set and a 4 set. That would be 3 sets, so that wouldn't be allowed.

Yep!
