I would’ve added more stage hazards and anti gravity parts on the tree branches we use to climb up. I’d also make the Wigglers red and angry when we run into them.
My ranking: 1st Mario Kart Wii: just legendary 2nd Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: I love this flying trough the leaves effect (glad that t's back), stunning remake and fantastic music version 3rd Mario Kart Tour: flowers don't fit into the fall theme of the track 4th Mario Kart 7: good comprimated for the 3DS but it is just "too flat?" (btw I miss Wiggler and R.O.B. as playable character)
I haven’t watched much Gamexplain in recent years, but I like this guys voice! The way he says “subtle” and “hi little birds” with so much character, or describes the scenery out of the canon the same way Nigella Lawson describes food hahaha!
@@knuclear200x to be fair, the target devices for mario kart tour ARE more powerful than the switch. Hell, the tour tracks in 8D actually push the switch's graphics harder on average
@@AiGeneratedWaluigi I'm serious. Hell, if what sources say are true, Cyanogen, the company behind the old android custom rom Cyanogenmod was supposed to work on the switch, but said no.
@@stanzacosmi Here we go again... Furst, although yes, modern top of the line phones are technically more powerful than the Switch, no, those aren't the objective market for Tour, Tour is optimized for way less powerful devices, which make up the majority of the phone market (heck, to run Tour you only need Android 5.0, that released in 2014). Second, the fact that modern phones can be technically more powerful than the switch doesn't mean they actually are, you also have to take into consideration optimization, the Switch is fine-tuned to run games while phones have to be way more versatile and make sacrifices in things like sheer gaming power. For example the Switch has probably way better ventilation than the vast majority of phones. Third, I really don't know the actual numbers but a simple look at Tour tracks compared to their 8DX iterations and you can clearly see that the latter seem to have more defined textures, complex lighting effects and sometimes even higher polygon count, and even with that they seem to be less demanding than base game courses. Oh, and I've played games on Switch that have made forced the Switch way more than anything in 8DX, so I really doubt tour courses are forcing the machine. And I'm writing all of this from a Poco F3, a phone that has sn SD 870, that could possibly measure and even surpass the Switch on sheer power.
The 8 Deluxe version makes a good argument, but the Wii version is still my favorite. And not just aesthetically, the turns feel the most satisfying and the infamous net bridge that was popularized by Nathaniel Bandy was more fun than the gliding ramp.
I'm pretty happy with this version, though I do still feel it's a downgrade in some aspects, such as the wigglers being placed in areas that make them much less of a hazard, the branch pathways being flattened, and the net still being gone. I don't see why they couldn't have kept the glider AND net at the same time, the best of both worlds like how they did with the glider mushroom on Mushroom Gorge.
Especially when we’re already gliding to cross a huge gap at the beginning of the track, and the net was really fun and very unique to the course, compared to that gap crossing gliding section, that plenty of courses already feature
Hope youll enjoy it :D its a really cool game and amazing if you like crazy things on games, a little bit of luck and alot of colors (thats how i will describe Mario Kart 8 Deluxe)
Mapple Treeway looked better and more detailed on the Wii version. I also think that Nintendo could have included 1 character and 1 vehicle part for each wave. Of course it could have been more exprensive, it would not have caused me problem.
This version is so much better than the Wii version. The Wii version just feels kinda empty ngl Edit: I completely forgot MKWii fans don’t like change and that others have to like Wii and if they don’t their opinion is wrong
The Wii version is much better because it makes it to the name, also is pretty accurate when it comes to the 🍂 station while the Tour is over saturated with many colors, and reduces the charm, also the music of the original is incredible.
Maple Treeway was always one of my favorite courses from Mario Kart Wii and I honestly don’t know why. I was just so good at this course!

You won't notice the degrade on 3ds.
The version of this track's music in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sounds soooo cozy!!! I love it!!

Aww, thanks so much!
He is so good to hear. Just wait to hear the pain of Jake
The first DLC pack was ok, the second was good, but this one is fantastic.
Too bad these aren't new tracks

I love how so many Wii tracks feel like they existed as places before they were made into tracks
Every copy of maple treeway is personalized
Fun fact: When the music speeds up on lap 3, the speed-up is faster in MK7 than it is in Wii and MK8DX
I FINALLY scored Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as a Christmas gift for myself! I can't wait to play the newer tracks! ^ ^

In conclusion, we'll never have the best track having the best from previous versions :(
I love how all footage from Tour was recorded in the early hours of the day. Like 12:36 AM, dude’s on the Mario Kart grind
Incredible my capacity to click any video that has Daisy on its tumbnail
You forgot to mention the leaves pile ground were the wigglers are was change to look more like an orange daisy for Tour and Mario Kart 8
Once again Nintendo listens and they fix stuff!
Can't wait for the clowns to call you a shill, even though Demeech himself admits that the DLC is improving.
So they give us old stuff and fix things that never needed it? Ok shill
@@knuclear200x Who have you been following?
A rather rare sight from Nintendo
Can't wait for Berlin Byways!
Anything but controversial tours like Berlin Tour
The skybox also became really different
Man, great analysis!
i hope those giant wigglers soon can rampage across the courses
Mario kart wiii has the best version hands down no need to even try to argue
You forgot about the bark in the trees themselves which where changed too.
I kinda hope nintendo will go back to some of the non-booster course tracks and add in some half pipes. Especially in Wii Wario's Gold Mine
And yoshi valley
Old one looks and plays better
You wave 4 leaks Mario kart 8 Deluxe video🤯🤯🤯🤯😯
I miss the bouncy net
This seems more like a comparison between Wii and 3DS than Wii and 8DX
Im just far enough in the game to understand your sparks of hope reference.😅
I thought you would talk about the courses in order, guess not for some reason.

Booster COURSE Pass
1? How about 6?
Honestly I still think the og looks best. Idk what it is about the deluxe version but it looks so ugly to me. Very disappointing
The water looks a bit weird in mk8
Mario Kart "Tewer"
Hey
mk7

Wii >>>> 8 > 7 > Tour for this map
At least tour has the halfpipe unlike Mario kart 7's version
First
Nope, you're second. 🤦♂️
