I don't think they only do it as fanservice. Yes, it's partly for entertainment but I do think they have a very close relationship. Even back during First Class, before it became very popular they were doing it already. And in a similar dirty way. I don't want to openly assume their sexuality... I have my opinion though. During interviews where they are pretty relaxed their body language say a lot!!! I know they are actors. Very good actors but I don't think they would spend that much effort on any of those interviews. These things just come naturally between them.
