Spot on! I appreciate your rule about acknowledging something positive about a book not liked, and citing something negative about a beloved book. Fair and honest reviews!
This was a great summary of what to include in a book review. It is what I both look for in the reviews of others and try to include in my own reviews.
Literary Labors Well, of course one doesn’t have to include ALL of these things in a review. Maybe pick four or five aspects to use in the review. Haha!
Great advice. That find something good in books you hate and something bad in books you love would be really hard for me. If I love it, then I don;t want to seek out something that might change my feelings and if I hate it, then it's usually because I can't fins anything to like about it. For Hemingway's Green Hills of Africa or Salinger's Catcher in the Rye, I think my one good thing would have to be that I liked the cover design or that the pages were numbered correctly. LOL

This is so helpful. I like it.
It's funny, I loved that original video, it was actually how I find your channel :) I love these tips!
Aw, thanks!
This was very helpful. Thank you! Honestly, my critique of a book doesn’t extend further then whether I liked it or not.

Books for MKs 😀 I thought I’d focus on the aspects that are most important to me, like characters, plot, and writing style.
