The only man that can convince me that Kyokushin has ART. It's not just a brutal fighting style.

He will go down as one of the all time GREATS - SAMURAI SPIRIT. So relaxed, so efficient = so powerful.

I really can't see how you guys can criticise him... I bet you haven't tried a 5 man kumite let alone a 40 man one! His distance and timing are amazing. His repertoire of moves is good. His judgement and ability to read his opponents is excellent. I'd like to see you do better!

for real! out of all 40 men, that guy was the only one who didn't seem scared of Matsui's kicks. he actually managed to pressure him. not an easy task

This type of fighting for the person doing 40, 50 or 100 isnt engaging...you just have have to keep moving and survive. If you start to trade punches & kicks in every fight you wont last 5men. Hence this is a great video that demonstrate survival when fighting 40man.
    ●Keep moving
    ●Sweeps
    ●Powerful body uppercut

I agree with you, BUT, and I don't want to be labelled as a typical sterotyper here, but they're very proud japanese karatekas who want to demonstarate "their power", so is there any practical proof that his kumite/sparring partners were giving their absolute all in punching, kicking and tricking Mas? They could've had given Mass some small angles that give away the technique Mas should've counterred, small angles that only the most skilled fighters could see the right timing to act...

Looks like Kenji Yamaki. He's another top Kyokushin fighter who won the World Tournament in 1995.

Yes this is impressive. But, if there was strinking to the face allowed no man could fight 40 men one after the other and still be standing
