I just looked this up because I bought a Boneyard Tavor from Evike a week ago and what showed up was a basically brand new looking CTAR. Paid $75 for the gun and all I needed to do was swap a new piston/piston head into the gun and now it works again. $75 for a 30 minute repair on a $350 gun. Now THAT'S a good deal lol.
Did you have any problems with it? Seen a few reviews and I love the whole charging handle motion but noticed in reviews that could damage the battery cables on this one....any feedback is appreciated 😩
@@AverageSkater - Worked fine for me. No issues and I loved swapping out the spring which was a breeze. i had 10 King Arms Metal Mid Caps that fit it like a glove and I only ran .25s out of it while I had it.
@@AverageSkater * I owned an AUG, UAR and P90 and I have to say I am not a fan of the 2-Stage Trigger. Of all of them, the least headache was the P90, but the UAR took M4 mags so that was a plus. Never owned a L85/86 or any of the AK variants either.
@@NepaAirsoft I can’t really afford the marui high cycle, the cyber gun/cyma is my only option really, do you reckon it’s useable from stock in outdoor games? Or? I don’t care so much about range, because that can be sorted later on, just need something relatively cheap as a backup that’s reliable, also thanks for the replies! They really help :)
i wish i had seen this before i got my G&G f2k.....the trigger looks SOOOOOO much better than that F2k POS lol (Havent tried it with gloves on yet soooo yeah)

The stock hopup rubber is very fragile and could have torn. Otherwise, try adjusting the hop all the way both ways because you might have hop all the way on instead of off
The RAM7 is based off of the Tavor 21, which is the real steel standard issue for the IWI Military in Israel. Modern Warfare had to rename it for licensing reasons. Still a bad ass gun though.
hey i have had this gun for a while now, unfortunately i have had this gun taken apart for the majority of the time i have owned the gun. where can i go to get replacement parts. i believe i have most parts just missing screws.
It doesn't say on the site, but is this using tamea or deans? I thought with a mosfet in there they might of done the right thing and made it deans, but I'm assuming its not.
I just worked on this same gun yesterday. It requires 2 bolts to remove the entire gearbox. You're thinking of the Ares Tavor which pretty much requires the entire gun to be broken down before getting the gearbox out, which I also have. The CTAR is a MUCH better gun than the Ares, plus it retains the same body but with a better gearbox and system.

Just bought one last week and love it. Would like to see a video on "take down" of the rifle if you have the time.
Still waiting for someone (not umarex) to come out with a decent X95
Omg yes, I want a X95 too
Loved mine, but had to sell it for Cash. Guy who bought it is loving it.

Bought it. What a POS. didn't last 24 hours after purchase before the piston cracked. Threw another $480.00 into it. Now she is a performer.
Is the gearbox completely proprietary or are certain parts compatible with other gearbox versions?
Duck_Vader I believe it uses some v2 parts

Is the hop up a normal m4 hop up? I know the old model wasn't but this new one looks like it might be.
Thinking about picking one of these up. Thoughts? Trying to get back into it and I really like bullpups, while this one is also on the lower price end
Awsome looking gun!
sold mine and got a real steel x95
Can't get both in CaNaDa

Is there a way to pop that orange piece off and put on a tracer unit or something similar?

That's what its based off...Fucking idiot

Can you add a suppressor
Is there anyway to change the hand gaurd from the current to say a pic rail
what version is the gearbox?
is the hop-up standard M4?
Anyone knows how to barrel removal for maintenance
how durable is the body? Im a bit vary of non steel bodies after my gg rk103 aluminum body just broke in a not even serious fall
It uses the same body the real steel Tavor 21 has. It's built to last.
I really want one but my budget and recommendations go completely against it so ima end up with a m4

Does it take PTS EPM mags?
They work fine with mine
