Awesome video ! I work with solder irons and flux all day . Tip to keep your flux good and not messy , use a syringe . It’s cleaner and easier to control . Your flux shouldn’t bubble or pop unless you have too much on the area .
Thats a good idea! I've seen people use all sorts of application tools for flux, its so neat to see what people come up with. I know the flux shouldn't be popping but when I was first learning, I really had no idea how much flux to use. If someone is just starting out watching this video, I don't want them to get popped with hot flux.
What was the cleaner you used before attaching the chains? The white spray bottle? Thank you so much for this video! I love pressing flowers so I think I am going to attempt to press wildflowers in beveled glass!
You could turn it into a mosaic using some plaster or if you'd like it to be able to hang still, wire wrap it! I'm not great with wire wrapping but there are a lot of great tutorials out there for it.
@@SparkleGarbage Thank you! I was actually thinking of breaking the glass pieces up to use around a small candle, for reflection. Still thinking on it! TY!
This looks like so much fun!!! I love sun-catchers!!!!
Another awesome tutorial! It was informative and yet also super relaxing to watch this! Also, love the Sailor Moon top!!
Thank you!
Love your aesthetic and I learned something new! 🌟💕
I'm glad! thank you so much

@@hilary_thatpurplegoth I use that to clean my stained glass pieces! yeah flux is gnarly, its crazy what it can do to metal and mirror backing.

Its called kwik clean and its a flux remover. I love doing pressed flowers with bevels, they always look so pretty!
Great job! I am looking for a project to re-purpose the cut glass from a Christmas wreath that fell apart. Any ideas, without soldering?
