I have a couple AKK receivers on a couple of my drones and I love them. I've never had a problem with them and the feed is always clear. Great video my friend. Fly or die!!!
Thanks for the video!! I’ve watched all you videos and they help so much!!
Im not certain, but I think the moving black lines your getting is actually from the vtx vibrating on the quad. If you put gummies on it might fix it, but once again Im not totally sure on that but good luck👍
Using pigtails above 3w usually blows the amplifier. It ends up only outputting 500mw. A swr above 1.6 will blow it. Its better to use a direct antenna connection.
False
@cinemoriahFPV not false most pigtsils are made bad. They raise the swr to much. It reflects to much power back into the amplifier. This is with high powered vtx only. Normal 2.5w and below it doesnt hurt them as easily. Tbs unify pro32 dp 3w manual even states this fact
Please can you explain
what would be the estimated maximum range?
As long as the battery lasts lol.
100 million miles
He means the distance
@@edek13371 100 million miles
You need to try the Ratel Pro camera, still happy with the regular Ratels, but the pro does have a better picture, my older goggles never looked so good.
When are you going to review Akk 16w vtx ?
Thanks for the video. How did you supply the input voltage of 14.6-28V to the AKK? Did you take it directly from the battery, or did you use a voltage regulator?
Yes the battery voltage (BAT pad on the flight controller)
I still don't understand what the range is? There is no distance on the OSD, nor in the description...
there are so many more variables to range then just power output. you can fly for 10s of kilometers on 1 watt if you have direct line of sight and a directional antenna
@@HolyOllie Well, about dozens - I don't know, I had ordinary glasses, without patches, and it was very difficult for me to fly beyond 2 km. Is it possible to be sure of a range of 10-12 km with these 5 watts, with patches on the glasses?
How far have you flown yourself? I am writing to you from Russia through a translator
100 million miles
which current sensor chip did you buy and how to wire it propely?
I bought the INA139, there is a SOT-23 pad on the ESC that it should drop right on. However it's very very difficult to solder with an iron and I didn't get it right. I think it might need hot air soldering.
@@hoardersam10 oh damn that is a tiny component. can you maybe draw on a picture of the esc where its supposed to sit?
Hi there tnx for the video! Do you actually saw any benefits from the biblade propellers? Flight time and battery usage wise ?
I'm closely following this series. Your first video inspired me to finally start building my own drone FPV any chances of doing this same build but with Ardupilot? I would love to build mine with Ardupilot instead of Beta Flight... I got almost everything from the last video except for the FC stack.. I think Ardupilot might be able to work on F4 or F7 stacks but I haven't really put time to research this and confirm it.
Yeah I'm planning on an Ardupilot or PX4 tutorial one day but it's pretty hard to set up. I have one drone running Ardupilot and it took hours to set up and a lot of little quirks. I might do INAV first since that's pretty easy and has a lot of similar automation features
@@hoardersam10😊 either one is great 👍🏻 thanks for the effort put on these videos.
I second the inav. I am working on my 7in I made thanks to you but with Walksnail. No osd though so trying to fix that.
@@betojfreakHey no complaints here if Inav it is! 😂 Im more interested in autonomous flying than Acrobatics.
Can I put this guy on a 5inch quad for flying inside abandoned buildings, and if so, which antenna should I use for this vtx instead? The antenna used in the video is way too big for a 5 inch.
Yeah, I'm a fan of the Rush Cherry antennas. Looks like some people are recommending buying a MMCX connector antenna and skipping the adapter in order to make it even better
@hoardersam10 thanks man
Are these legal in Europe? I thought the limit was 2.5w?
Any alternatives? These are kind of pricey at $100
I think the weird lines you're seeing when you're close to yourself has to do with the amount of power this thing is putting out. I'd be curious to see if they went away when you lower the power. If they don't go away, then maybe you're right about it switching to the omni.
Jamming in a combat area like Ukraine is why you have a wider frequency range and all the channels. : )
You may be overloading the receiver when you’re closer to yourself and that’s why you may be seeing banding.
No shit Sherlock
5.4ghz and 96 channels. Is this economy of scale due to Ukraine and Russia war?
Betaflight allows you to create your own tables for your vtxs. Maybe that could help with the 48-channels limitation?
Tbh i flew 20k on a tbs unfiy pro32 nano at 400mw+. As long as you have clear line of sight and up in the sky video stays clear along way out
My longest flight [7"] is 19,682m ! 👍✌️
Ukraine would be happy with these you should try the runcam Phoenix 2 se will give you better picture and night flight capabilities
can this be used with the built in steadyview receiver on the skyzone goggles?
Yeah it will work
Producers of a product don’t want you to know about it!
Dang, and AKK just dropped their 16w vtx...
why would your googles be able to tune into non standard freqs?
Your goggles are capable of a wide range of frequencies 👍
Standard just means most commonly used
@ mine aren’t but OK
This is made for war.
Make analog great again!
Be stronger than the marketing propaganda and you will see that analog has been great all along.
I Only have 1 digital quad and that is the Neo RTF. My builds are all analog.
Can you make a long rang 7 inch for 500-700 for 2025
cries in EUW 25mw limit.
TBH nobody cares about those complete Bullshit laws as long as ur not over a military base or something like this
Use 1.5 watt 1.3 ghz ....you get same range bro...
What do you recommend?
Please make a video on the installation
