Having watched the review I must say something about ANC and hearthrough. I just watched a couple of reviews and the comment on ANC was that it was really good. Especially blocking out windnoise when you're running - a very nice feature! Someone also said that hearthrough didn't work for him at all when talking to people because he couldn't hear what they where saying. He simply had to pull out on of the buds to hear something...
I bought these as a possible replacement for my Jabra Active 75s, whos batteries are starting to have quite short lives, but which I've otherwise loved. The sound quality of the 7s is good (less bass heavy and cleaner sounding, in a good way IMO then the 75s) and they are a little lower profile in the ear. But several things led me to send them back: - Case is creaky and quite bulky compared to 75s. A victim of the lower price point I expect - Buttons on the 75s require more force to activate than on the 7s, a little uncomfortable (but I still prefer buttons to touch, like you) - ANC is really poor as you mentioned. Less effective by far than the 75s, even though those didn't have ANC when they launched and it was added as a firmware update. - The deal killer was the sound latency when watching UA-cam on my laptop. Especially if you pause and restart the video, the sound gets completely out of synce, by a second or more. I read reports of others with the same issue, so it wasn't a problem with my setup. So I sent them back and got the Samsung Bus Pro 2 instead. They're ok, not great. Sound quality is very good. The touch controls are unreliable, and connectivity with my Samsung phone is slower to happen than with the Jabras, which is crazy. And Buds ANC is still not as good as the old 75s...sigh
I wonder if there actually are any true wireless that are as good as you (and i) want them to be :P I'm gonna stick with these for some time and then potential change/upgrade. Thanks for the input!
For me the bass in 75 is way to much, despite i am a rap lover. I am thinking about getting 7 instead. Are they as loud as 75t? Is bass as overpowered as in 75?
I had one of the previous generations. They are nice, until they break down, and they will break down. And then I had a really hard time making the manufacturer honour the warranty. Really poor customer service, they just ignored me until I threaten them with the European Consumer Centre, and eventually they replaced the headset under the 2 year warranty. And the new ones (they sent out as replacement) , the Jabra Elite 7 Pro, definitely seem a step down in quality from the previous gen (the case for example went from rubbery solid feeling to flimsy slipper plastic). I would not buy them again due to the poor customer service
That's very interesting to hear! My only contact with them so far was writing on twitter about the failed firmware upgrade. Got a pretty fast reply and a solution that worked. But it's not great to know that might be the case. My hope then stands to the fact that I bought them from a retailer where I have a very very high level in the bonus program. I think they'll honor any replacement request for me haha
@@w2best well if it breaks down near the 2 year warranty limit, you will deal with them, and not the retailer unfortunately. Hope your experience will be better. Other than that I love the headphones ,, I tried other one brands while waiting for them to step up, none were quite as nice as these
@@w2best When I open mine it makes a kindly of creaky sound. So, in your case it doesn't make any? And do you also encounter delay in multipoint connectivity. When I connect to two devices and plays audio on any of of them, then the sound first comes to right earbud and after delay of 2 sec it comes to left earbud.
I used 65t. Love them. Week ago a i bought 75ts but the bass is way to powerful. I am thinking about send them back and get 7. Update: mine 75ts are faulty (left one). I bought 7 pro as well. 75t are way better. Completely change my mind.
