Thank you Father. A good guide to reinforce parent’s task of developing their children’s Faith journey in life.

God is the source of our increase……however, that increase must be cultivated and nourished. You don’t wake up one day and start playing the classics on the piano…it takes years of piano practice and instruction. The same with Holiness….God gives us the seed…..but we don’t wake up one day and achieve a higher state of Holiness….it doesn’t work that way. Even take Bl. Francis Jordan, he started off with private prayer….was devout (consistent in Holy piety) and had a love of learning. Just like one would practice the piano every day…..Bl. Jordan would engage in spiritual nourishment every day….not once on Christmas Day, Easter Sunday, or obligation days…..BUT EVERY DAY. If we knew about the blessedness of being in Holiness, we wouldn’t waste so much time with worldly distractions.

An interesting comparison detailing the length of time that needs to be expended to achieve your wish.
