Thanks for checking out this video! If you missed my Land Cruiser Reveal video where I did a walkaround and gave more details about why I bought it, here it is: ua-cam.com/video/GTsPUQDdjlM/v-deo.html
We need more LC videos. So glad to see you having fun, they are so fun. I have a '93 and I remember working on it and I ended up deleting the tow hitch, 3rd row seats, and running boards. keep posting LC videos.
Great video as always Chloe, loved the desert footage. Not a Land Cruiser but I do own a '95 Four runner that I bought new and have taken off road many times here in the AZ desert over some pretty challenging trails and it has never failed me, it's pretty much resigned to 'daily drives' status now as I just acquired a 2019 Tacoma TRD Offroad that was a garage queen and only had 2000 miles when I bought it. The previous owner had upgraded the suspension, shocks and added a lift plus 35" tires so it's pretty much ready to hit any trail, and the funny thing is the previous owner made all those upgrades and NEVER TOOK IT OFF ROAD!!! Being an exclusive Toyota owner for the last 40yrs. I'm pretty excited to see how this new Taco stacks up to my previous rigs, I have no doubt it will do just fine.
Hi Chloe love your new TLC. I bought one that looks just like yours but a 1997 one before the covid hit and I've given it an OME suspension lift of 2.5" and a 33" tire. I've also replaced the front bumper with an ARB steel bumper. I've taken it to Joshua tree, Anza Borrego and all over So Cal. looking forward to your build.
I bought a stock 100 series last year and have moded it out as an overland rig. If you can imagine it you can do it to these rigs. I look forward to seeing how you end up setting this 80 up for the trail. As a LC owner you should consider joining your local TLC club. That is what I did as soon as I got mine and the people in the club are a plethora of information, knowledge and make new friends to hit the trails with. Good luck and I'll be watching.
GM over there CK you have a classic people still look for it and I like how tough it is and it lasts forever good pick GBU And Family CK hope your sleeping now ❤ 🙏 great video as always goodnight
When I first start watching this video and you said how old the Land Cruiser was I was saying to myself God it’s got to be older than Chloe and then as the video went on you said it was six years old than you , made me laugh.
I replaced my 96 80 series horn with a different one from a stock Lexus LS400 part and it bolts right in the stock location. I paid $15 for mine including the brackets from a junk yard.
Chloe cool ride. The wheel base is so long it looks like a 4 in min lift. Maybe a 6 in lift would be better. Ide love to see that. You have a keeper there.
Toyota built the Land Cruiser very capable right out of the box so to speak. When people start modifying…..lifts, bigger tires, different gearing, adding weight, that’s when potential problems begin.
I've got Eibach shocks waiting in my garage for me that I'm installing soon! I'll change the springs when I get new wheels/tires and probably go with Eibach or OME
@@ChloeKuo if definitely my favorite ride and the small wheel base helps getting around anywhere, especially in the mountains and woods. Btw, beautiful rigs, the Taco and 80 series! 🤙🏻
Hmmm. 30 year old ride that is 6 years older than you. I can do the math that says you are 24 years old. You seem exceptionally mature compared to the typical 24 year old.
this is sad. imagine having a land cruiser. paying a ton for gas and only driving it on the freeway. taking it off road once, then buying a new truck. i've had a bunch of landcruisers and they are not the best for driving around highways.
Chloe, are you single and looking to mingle? 😀 ❤️ I have the same taco as you, but it’s bone stock, maybe you could help me upgrade it? Sweet land cruiser btw

That sounds exactly like what I plan to do to mine!
Great video as always Chloe, loved the desert footage.

Congrats on that AWESOME find! The new Tacos are really nice and don't lack in the capability department. Cool to hear about the 95 4Runner 😁
Great buy Chloe! The FJ80 series just has that best classic look. Love to see you do some mods to bring it up to your standards.
That Land Cruiser is so clean, what a great buy. I've been looking for one here in New England but I think they've all rotted away.
Ah. I want an 80 Series LC myself. Nice!
Awesome start. I started with a 92 fj80 also, it was slow as a pig but very reliable. Currently own a HDJ81 and love it!
Love the stock look! I'm a sucker for pavement princesses though. Can't wait to see how this build turns out! You always do them right!
*Slow and thirsty dooms the single ohc Landcruiser. The dual cam made it more driveable if you want to drive O/R and pass cars on the highway. Ever.*

Thanks for the tips! I am still learning so cool to know about TLC clubs!
I could watch you crawl through the rocks for hours! Gotta love the TLC!
I love how hi the seats sit up, super good visability all around. Great rigs!
Great closing clip of the sun setting behind the mountain, thanks Chloe.
I had a 88 four runner...loved hearing again that old school toyota truck start up sound...
It’s an absolutely amazing vehicle. No regrets when I first drove one from the Distributor plant in Jacksonville Florida when they first came out.
Can't wait to see all the amazing content and mods you will do with this Land Cruiser👍🏼
I love the LC80. Looking forward to seeing the build. Thanks for sharing
I do miss my ‘92. Brings back old memories
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥the hype!!!! The hype!!! Let go!!! Chloe I love it I love watching your channel keep up the awesome work💪🏾💯
Ah, makes us miss Joshua Tree! Great update Chloe, lookin forward to seeing this rig get built up.
Woot! That sweet sweet trail footage. Super cool story with that LC too.
Welcome to the 80 club! Very excited to see what you do to it. I've been working on one for a while now and its really impressive what it can do.
Sweet ride! Your build is going to be a blast Chloe!
Looking forward to seeing you build this out.
Wow, that's a nice rig!! I'm envious!
After the mods a trip to the same trail would make for a fun comparison. Just to highlight the improvements you make.
That is such a great idea! I'm sure it'll be so much easier 😊
Love your LC! Look forward to watching you build it.
WOW!!! LOVE IT!! Cant wait to see all that U do to it!
Great trail blazing! Definitely want to see more LC videos!
Love the new ride thanks for sharing!
5:20 the knowledge you have is pretty impressive for your age and gender! love your videos
Those Land Cruisers are so cool! All Toyota roads lead to the 80s series!
Lose the running boards. Easy to take off, and will give you a bit more clearance. Super clean rig!!
definitely looking forward to following the build, hoping to get my hands on one eventually
Nice. I’ll check out that trail once i finish updating my montero
Finally..... I can't wait for the built to start!!!
Love it! I dig my 97 that way!
loving the videos Chloe
You should put where you buy your accessories and spare parts that you change to tour trucks...
Awesome find, especially for your location. Have fun out there!
Thanks 😊
That is so cool 😎! Great video again Chloe 👍. ♥️🌮🐶🐕
Of course it's a beast! Loved the video!
GM over there CK you have a classic people still look for it and I like how tough it is and it lasts forever good pick GBU And Family CK hope your sleeping now ❤ 🙏 great video as always goodnight
That is a fantastic rig.
Nice video, makes me want a LC now. Thanks!
Damn that thing is clean, aren't you just the cutest little lady.
I have a 91. Hope to run into you in the trails.
Great test of the Landcruiser! Now time to make a great trail rig to your taco!

Do you still have 80 series Land Cruiser if yes thn please make more videos
Chloe cool ride. The wheel base is so long it looks like a 4 in min lift. Maybe a 6 in lift would be better. Ide love to see that. You have a keeper there.
Looks like a fun day. I didn’t realize Joshua Tree had any trails
We need to take another trip there with you 😊 Also, I did not know you had a ghost town until I watched your video! I want to visit
One these same Land Cruisers is for sale on a lot on my drive to work and have been very tempted to buy it 😬
my offroading queen is riding the original offroading queen.
Toyota built the Land Cruiser very capable right out of the box so to speak. When people start modifying…..lifts, bigger tires, different gearing, adding weight, that’s when potential problems begin.
Wow, would've been fixing that up instead of the new toy! Awesome rig...
Lake Havasu 🌞 Az
My dream car.
Loved the trail, and I’m sure you know you definitely need a lift and AT tires for that LC. 🙃🛻
Safe to say I'm jealous. In the market for this or 100 series in the coming months. Looks great!
How exciting!! They are a ton of fun and you will fall in love 😊
Did you sell this FJ80??? I came looking for videos of the Build and can’t find anything.
92 land cruisers never offered with front and rear lockers wasn’t offered till 93 as an option
In my place your model is called VX 80 Limited very expensive model
Pick up some sliders. MetalTech 4x4. That should be your first armor upgrade. Damaged rockers are NOT fun to fix.
Can't wait to go back to Joshua tree again. Thank you for making this video 🙏👍
The 3fe once you start to add weight to it, it’ll be slow very slow. Bigger tires, suspension, armor, etc.
True, it's already a dog when I'm driving on the pavement!
It's unfortunate we don't get the turbo diesel land cruisers and hilux that the rest of the world gets. They are awesome!!
Lol I'm thinking of getting a fj80 with lockers and keeping the taco. Maybe we can do a shootout!
Do you know what lift you planning on putting on it?
I've got Eibach shocks waiting in my garage for me that I'm installing soon! I'll change the springs when I get new wheels/tires and probably go with Eibach or OME
Please bring LC back!!!! We miss it!!!
Awesome off-roading! All you need is a lift and tires and you’ll be flying through that trail lol
More character for pinstripes😀
Truth!
Wuuut when did you get this and hoew did I miss it lol
Wondering what happened to this build???
Any content involving a Toyota 👍 Any involving a Jeep.👎 😀 Great video! Keep them coming.
Loose those running boards 👍👊
Definitely 😅
What's the song at 8:24 ? I listen to this stuff all the time
It's from the UA-cam royalty-free music library. I think it's called "u in my arms"
I feel the envy inside of me!!
I have a 1991 gold How much u paid for yours??
How much do you want for it?
Next, get yourself a 3rd Gen 4runner. It'll be a great addition to your collection.
I'd love that!
@@ChloeKuo if definitely my favorite ride and the small wheel base helps getting around anywhere, especially in the mountains and woods. Btw, beautiful rigs, the Taco and 80 series! 🤙🏻
Lift it for more ground clearance and use a much better type of suspension stay safe
How many miles per gallon?
Probably close to 10-12
@@ChloeKuo not too bad but where was FZJ80 lol😅
Just a terrific vehicle. Yeah, take it slow over those rocks, unless there's a herd of elephants chasing you!
so tech damn
My stock 92 goes anywhere I want to go on the big island.
That SUV was sad for 30 years.
Wow! So whomever has had that LC only drove about 6500 miles per year.
Or they must've let it sit for some years
So we gotta a call.
That LC is a piece of junk. Lucky for you, I’ll do you a favor and take it off your hands.
$500 is More than a fair offer!
First

I want one so bad ❤
I was just in JT last week. Woulda been awesome to meet you. I have a 2019 4R trd. You ever go 4 wheeling with your fans? We’re in riverside county
Me and another Tacoma UA-camr are in the talks about doing a meetup and possibly trail run too! It would be either in SD or Riverside area
