How can you have Alabama listed 10 spots ahead of Michigan. Michigan beat both OSU and Alabama. Not saying Michigan should be ranked higher but, 11 spots from Alabama? Who exactly did Alabama beat? Michigan SOS was top 5 in country.
@@jonnybaze7449 Why? Look at the entire season as a whole. Ignore the logos on the helmet. Team A finished 13-1, won their conference, has wins against the number 1 team (Ohio State), 5, 8 and 16 with their only loss coming to the number 1 team (Ohio State). Team B finished 14-2 with losses to Ohio State and Northern Illinois and wins against number 5, 6 and 10. Team A sounds more deserving to me.
@ thats not their entire schedule(not even all the ranked wins, team B #22), how they played in those games isn’t taken into account(for team A, not great in most games), team B played TWO more fbs games than team A, like opponents are essentially a wash.

Well I'll be a sonova. You pretty much #Nailed! the top 10 and the top 10 is all that matters.
I've always thought about a simplified version of the bcs a set of criteria that most people could do and understand as an example - total number of losses of the opponents that beat u has, added together if more than 1 loss - 1 total number of losses the opponents that you beat have (not including head to head loss) - total number of points lost by - add decending/ Compounding points for each loss 1loss= -1 point 2 losses = -3, 3 losses = -7, -2 playing fcs -1 for losing to non p4 -1 losing to team w/ losing record -1 close win against losing team (8 points or less, 7 or more losses) +1 p4 wins +1 top 12 wins +1 loss to top 12 team + 1win vs bowl team 6-6 stacks +1 win by 10+ point vs p4 winning teams 7+ wins +1 win by 10+ points vs top 12 team +1 top 12 offense vs p4 bowl teams ppg +1 top 12 defense vs p4 bowl teams ppg Add up everything and thats the rankings
Michigan had a crazy schedule recognizing that there were many frauds in the SEC. Michigan lost to Texas, Indiana, Illinois, Oregon and beat Ohio State and Alabama. Illini beat a first one out playoff team SCar and Bama was a first one out playoff team.
1. Why is Texas ranked ahead of Georgia when they played twice and lost and have similar records? 2. Illinois and Boise State both played Oregon. One team got smoked and the other played it close. 3. Alabama, South Carolina, LSU and Missouri are ranked criminally high. SEC ain't the big dog any more. All these teams should be knocked down at least 4 spots. 4. Hard to argue…mainly because I know Mark does his homework! Great season for my Hurricanes…can’t wait to see next year!
Alabama’s in the top 15, yeah this makes no sense

Thanks again for all of your good work this season!
The best list in the business!
I appreciate it.
Beating OSU made Michigan's season. Bama was the 🍒 on top
Michigan’s defense without Johnson, Moore, Grant, Graham, Stewart and a few others is neither a joke nor a fluke.
Still can't believe Day threw that game. I can't prove he did. No one can prove he didn't
ND behind Oregon? That’s laughable.

Michigan beat Ohio State at the END of the regular season in Columbus.
They have Florida at 6 and a 1/2 games over under next year. What do you think?

Based on that logic, Washington should be ahead of Michigan.
