Can you engrave T shirts with 2.5w laser engraver?

- Saw some videos where it said that there is possible to apply your logo to any shirt using laser engraver.
As you can see in the video the best result for me was using this setup:
2.5W no brand chinese laser engraver with 10% power(or 100 in lasergrbl) and 1500mm/s. Anyway i might try some other materials since what i tested made the t-shirt weak and it might break after few washes.

maybe think into engraving cloth patches with a more permanent material instead, having to calibrate for each different kind of shirt/cloth seems like a pain
have you tried washing it? does it fade?
Yes, it appears holes after first wash. The t-shirt was unusable

I think so. But you need to try it first

Yes, not a good idea. After the first wash, the shirt was unusable. I hear that there are shirts that are special made for laser engraving

Every time I think I've come up with an original idea, I see someone on UA-cam has already tried it haha... I didn't catch the final settings (not that I could decode what was on the screen anyways), at what power level did you achieve success?
I don't recommend. After 2 or 3 wears, the t-shirts was done. There are special made for engraving but i didn't tried it yet

What machine is this
Laser engraver from aliexpress. Not recommended for making tshirts like that. After one wear, there was a big hole there
Greu de gasit punctul ideal de "ardere" :) Cred ca e mai facil sa gravezi un material aditional pe care il cosi peste tricou. De exemplu o eticheta de 0.5 ~ 1 mm din piele de calitate.
M-am gândit la asa ceva. Dar nu știu coase
Găsești atât viteza cât și puterea corespunzătoare, daca la o putere mică încă mai arde, se mărește viteza... Sigur va merge

You need special material tshirt that is recommended for engraving. I heard that there is on the market, i didn't search for.
If you engrave normal shirts, after first Wash it's done. Full of holes.

Around 100 euro was that laser. On AliExpress. But they are slow.
Is that cotton or polyester?
I don't remember honestly. But after first wash it broke. But i Heard that there are special t-shirt that can be engraved.

Acuma dețin un laser CO2 de 40w. Acela sigur taie.
@@DanielH de taiat taie, la fel cred ca trebuie reglata puterea si viteza astfel incat sa taie numai folia adeziva nu si suportul de transfer.

Trebuie sa mai experimentez ca să nu se rupă. Ca degeaba îl fac dacă pușcă când îl port. Voi testa și alte materiale, când se va termina cu virusul vieții sa pot cumpăra altele
