Good work man. Thank you for the combo guide. Learning a few of the combos here enabled me to rank up to silver from low bronze in just a play session today. Before I was focusing on doing anti-airs with medium DP and blocking followed by a crush counter. Again, thanks a bunch.
Look at the input hints and if you have trouble understanding them the notations are pinned in the comments. I'd suggest you go to the training room and look at the command list.
Thanks for the question. I play on stick unless I'm playing Modern Controls in SF6 in which case I play on pad. Saying that you should use whatever works best for you, there are pros who are very successful with pad 🙂
Simply put: it is when you cancel the recovery of one move with the start of another. You just have to be quick enough with the second input. I'd advise you check out my video explaining how combos work.
@@sugami82 And that's why this genre struggles :). Don't get me wrong: I know that this is the very essence that those fighting games enthusiasts who love those games want out of them. But no casual player will ever put in the time to learn all of that, it's way too time consuming. And casual players is what every game that's supposed to stay commercially successful needs..
no, they absolutely are learnable as a beginner, idk what you mean, and like sure, if by 'beginner friendly' you mean a beginner should already know them then that's silly because then there'd be no reason to watch this video. Fighting games enthusiasts complain about combos being too easy in this game lol, because they really aren't hard to learn. If being time consuming was a deal breaker for the 'average consumer' then tiktok wouldn't be the largest social media platform lol. The issue here is that you, and sadly many people simply don't have the attention span to actually put any amount of effort to get a richer experience out of their entertainment. Not saying you have to like fighting games or any other entertainment that requires effort and knowledge, that's your business, but your dopamine addiction doesn't mean every game out there should maximize instant gratification over anything else
@@DeepfriedBeans4492Agreed. Most people aren’t willing to stick it out in the training menu for a couple hours to polish those combos and commit them to memory. A lot just learn once and go, or wait until they’re in a match to look at combos. Even back in the 90s with SF, Killer Instinct, Tekken, etc, there were always long combos that were tough to master but so rewarding once you got it. I used to do 10 hit combos with Jin and Paul on Tekken when I was a kid lol. Most people just don’t have the patience to stick it out, I wholeheartedly agree

Good job! I can always tell the matches that I do poorly in is when I let them jump too much!
The moment I realised that u uploaded the Ryu guide was when I searched for your channel on it
Should have turned on notifications :)
Bro got lp hit confirms in a beginner combo guide 😭 ruthless
That'd be in the intermediate section and best used after jump 🙂
@sugami on the CC HK you could have went for:
CC MK, MP, c.HP, DP HP xx CA
Not beginner friendly :) You'll see I do use the s.MP > c.HP link in the intermediate combos section :)
what is the difference between v skill and v trigger?
what is Crush Counter and critical arts?
I advise you go take a look at vol. 1 demonstrations, it will cover all the basic mechanics of the game :)

I hv trouble linking crouching normal into Z motion
Are you using the df d df shortcut?
@@sugami82 So it's df + any normal then d and df, right? I can do cr. mediums and heavys into Z motion, but not cr. lights into Z motion
I still don't understand the cancel. How does it work and what's the input?

thank you very much
Glad you found it useful :)
Not even showing the buttons they're pressing even though it's built into the game...
I have written the inputs at the top. I don't like including the button inputs as my inputs are messy and it clutters the screen.
Noob
Bro nun of yall tutorials make anything easier on GOD
Bro, look at the input hints (second line) and practice. If you still have trouble then I suggest you try Ed or Falke as they have easier inputs.
Well, I would argue that combos - especially combos that include super moves - aren't "beginner" material to begin with, but nice vid ;)
Thanks :) you're not going to get much easier than these :P
