- Lacking a bit of grip on old federal rsrr tyres. My second time on this track so i have fully committed to these very high speed corner. Had a blast chasing down this porsche and a lotus exige

I just drove a K20 the other day for the first time. Much heavier, it was a USDM civic si but even having owned other 2 liter Honda motors, I was absolutely blown away by the mid range torque. Things happen at 3.5k that didn’t happen in my b20v with full Boltons and a dyno tune.
There is a reason so many refer to the K series as "Gods engine"
some guy broke it down about k20 engine. they had a straight inlet from manifold air that goes directing to the injector. that helps a lot with mid range to top end power. while other b series used a curve inlet which aid in lower end torque but being a 4 cylinder and 2 displacement less than k20 dont help with mid range power to that of k20. a tuned stock k20 feels pretty good - you feel more power in all band noticeable.

@@chaseteter yeah. K20 you feel power low to top end. F22 or f20c from s2000, it's all high end. It's durable like k20. The k series has the power from low to top. That's what make it better in term if power and potential upgrade.
@@BlueRice it’s hard to wrap your mind around that if you’ve spent lots of money on a b series and never drove a k. That’s my situation. I would have never believed it but once you drive it, it’s undeniably better.

@@pav_nath yes inside both have good handling and would have a high cam profile now that would be nice to listen to the k20 vtec engagement then the 2zzge VVTL-i engagement

@@pav_nath thats why im still wanting to build my ls engine back up. im hoping the piston and rods are usable. mainly the pistons since SRP doesnt make their 10.7:1 b series pistons anymore and eagle rods are still easy to get. i have some fun JGE303 LS cams
