Falcon BMS 4.36 - Double Dragon 9 - TASMO

The 222nd VFW flight left Osan AB to attempt our third run to strike the carrier with AGM-84 Harpoons. It was a quiet run most of the way there, but just minutes from weapons release the Escort flight [Satan 2] picked up inbound hostiles. While they kept them at bey, we turned in quick for the strike run. Something jammed on one of my Harpoons (probably mashing too many buttons), but got a release on the second.
After turning away to clear the SAM threat from the carrier and assess the air threat picture, another run was made. The Harpoon was still stuck, but the Wingman in #4 got two away. Both him and #2 of the flight got hits on the carrier for a successful mission. Then the action started.
With hostile groups chasing out from the strike area, the package had to shoot our way clear, losing one of our Escort aircraft. Just when it looked safe to form up for approach merely 60 nm out from the base, hostile J-20's flanked us, nearly taking out three more. Fortunately some F-15's helped clear those to allow our safe return to base.
