I remember when this happened. I was with the Weatherfords and I remember walking into the building and the Florida Boys were doing their sound check. They were doing Rainbow Of Love and Billy Todd proved that he hadn't lost a thing in retirement. He was blowing holes in the floor! A very nice guy and a great bass singer.
What a beautiful rendition of a beautiful song! The Florida Boys have always been one of my favorite gospel quartets. I've always felt that Billy Todd is one of the most underrated bass singers I have ever heard. He's like a bottle of fine wine. He just gets better with age.
+Ma007rk I agree. He was as solid a bass singer as I have heard, with great tone and one of the best at solos that I haver heard. I never heard him fake or fry sing a low note.
Great reunion of a classic Florida Boys lineup. On this video, "Jesus is Coming Soon" is the original recorded version, and the "Boys" are performing a VERY nice lip sync. "Welcome Home" is sung live, and Tommy Atwood (as Les points out) sings it beautifully.
Love all these guys . Miss Les and Billy. All of them are my great friends.
Glen Allred; as solid a true, Gospel quartet baritone as I have heard.
I loved the songs and the performers.
I love Tommy Attwood singing Welcome Home, what a wonderful voice, it brought me to tears.

My favourite period of the Florida Boys was with Billy and Tommy!
I was married to Love Lifted Me - to Douglas James Clarke - December 20th, 2006 and it was the first time I heard it to the Florida Boys.
