You have the best camera in the world. Those close-ups on the food. Makes my mouth water. That suite is heavenly. I would take 4 of my cousin's and we would have a ball.

If you ever go to Portland, Oregon there’s this really good restaurant called takihoshi and it only opens at 5pm. But the miso soup is too die for. Great sushi and fried foods. Everything is tempura except sushi. They offer you tea and rice at the beginning but you have to ask for miso. You won’t be disappointed
I absolutely adore that you travel on your own and you look so absolutely happy doing it! I can learn a thing or 2 from you.
The hotel suit looks great and I like the bathtub so much.

Another cool room at MGM is the Skyline Terrace Suites, it is very similar to the Skylofts but also have a 800sq ft terrace that looks out towards the strip and a bit cheaper also. Definitely worth checking out and comparing it to your Skyloft experience.

Mikey, fellow foodie and X New Yorker here living in the Summerlin section of Las Vegas. I love your channel and can't believe how much we have in common, I think we were close friends in a former life.....ha ha. But seriously, you should think about moving to this area, just 20 minutes from the strip and so many of your most favorite foodie experiences. I actually consider it one of the best-kept secrets in the entire US as far as quality of living goes and from what I can tell about you, you would absolutely love it here.

I’ve been to Vegas before!! Next time I go,, I’ll try to go on the MGM Skyloft!! Although it’s superrr expensive,, it sounds so nice in terms of service and food !! I also wanna go on the Venetian !!
Having worked for MGM in Macau, I'm stunned! We were always made to feel that the rooms & food were secondary to the gambling...most rooms were given free to high-rollers who never actually used them or gave a rat's arse about the taste of the food.....it was just spend, spend, spend!
Mike, I like all your content honestly. I kind of feel bad about the Vegas videos because dear lord they must be so expensive to do! But if you're enjoying yourself, that's the main thing. Thanks for all the excellent vids x

Skyloft sends a Rolls Royce to get you, not just from the airport, they’ll pick you up from another hotel as well. They drop you off as well, unless things have changed due to covid or budget cuts. Sodas used to be included with the room. They would keep your drink preference on file or ask before you got there what you like to drink. I like having the mansion breakfast in the room instead. The pastries are killer. Speaking of pastries… if you are celebrating something (it can be anything) they welcome you with a cake.
Really enjoyed the two videos.
As a Sky Suites loyalist and someone who has also stayed in the Skylofts, I agree the service at Skylofts is on a different level and having access to dine at The Mansion is a great perk.
However, the rooms at the Skylofts are very dated and in desperate need of a refresh. MGM Grand also pales in comparison to Aria in nearly every way in terms of the overall properties.
Since your stay, the Sky Suites have been completely renovated and they are back to a full staff. I hate you had to experience a reduced level of service because of them being short-staffed have due to the pandemic. That is not at all typical in "normal times." I have stayed there 10+ times and never had an instant where my room wasn't ready on time, and several stays our room was ready early.
Also,.all of the non-alcoholic beverages used to be included in your stay at Skylofts and the Butler would refresh your refrigerator throughout your stay. That was the case for years. That is why everything is so cheap now. I guess they are taking baby steps into the world of charging their customers for what used to be included for so long.
You should give the Sky Suites another chance next time you return to Vegas. They have also opened a fantastic dim sum restaurant called Din Tai Fung that would be right up your alley.

Ping Pang Pong chinese restaurant, located at gold coast local hotel and casino. the food is good there but i cant promised with the service.
Wow, both are own by mgm but you can see the quality of the food and the service is like heaven and earth
If you really want to go YOLO, reserve the 2BR SkyLoft with Terrace. There are only TWO of these SkyLofts and they're highly sought after so best to go when it isn't busy as casino guests always prioritized higher than cash paying guests when it comes to these room assignments.
Mike -- This thing taste just like spending a lot of money on a suite in Vegas... it hurts but feels OH so Good!

The MGM Grand looks way better then Aria. The amount of pillows is amazing.....I usually bring 3 pillows with me everywhere so I know I have enough

I am just curious, did no one come over and ask how your breakfast was? Or is Mike just too nice? I wouldn't make it an issue if this was just some place in Chinatown but for the price of this breakfast I'd definitely let them know the food is subpart when asked.

Where do you get your shirts? You had on a poloish shirt that was a pullover but had about 8 buttons and I really liked it.
It's the shirt you were wearing when you are eating in MGM room....the carrot cake, Salmon, etc. It's 24 minutes into the video.
