If it can happen to pagers it will definitely will happen to handphones in times of war. So which handphone brand manufacturer is safest in times of war? I put my money on Huawei! Harmony OS Next will be too advanced and complex for Cyber- criminals!
Do you even know how these explosions happened ? It was not a cyber attack as pagers and radios don't have the capability to explode from a simple hack ! The devices that blew up had been tampered within the shipment or manufacturing process with and a small amount of explosives placed in them . The actual company who sold the license to the company that made them using their name is from Taiwan.

Why does everyone only focus on "who made the devices"?
Along the long supply chain from production to transportation to distribution, there are ample opportunities for other parties to intercept and tamper with the devices by inserting explosives or other devices. That's how only those batches sold to Lebanon are affected. It's very targeted.
Factories just churn out devices on mass production. I don't believe the manufactures had any role in this at all.
Wondering if the next product used in this terror will be S. Korea made, I would include the Philippines but I don’t think they manufacture electronic goods.
