Hats off to Mr.Clark for coming on your pod cast and sharing intimate details of his mental health as well as his career as a police officer, I personally didn't know officers get pulled into different high stress situations one right after another without time to reflect on what just happened. Maybe it's different here is the U.S. I'm fortunate to live in a small city were major violence isn't a regular occurrence. Sending Mr. Cark love and appreciation ❤️

I love how open he is, very brave! I think it's great to have chosen a man to talk about his mental health aswell, continue to fight this 'man up' attitude we have in society. Man/woman/child whoever you are we're all human with brains that are amazing and sometimes fragile!
Thank you both for your time and efforts, in this video and in your chosen professions. Not all hero's wear capes 👨🏽‍⚕️👮‍♂️

Totally relate to how what he’s saying. It’s one after another after another situation without time to process the last. Sometimes you take your emotional feeling with you to the next job. There is no time to process or reflect. I mean your role is a counsellor as well as a PO but the counsellor will get supervision... You don’t.
From one ex officer to another, I hope you’re healing my friend

I lived with two south African ex paramedics who had severe PTSD,they worked during apartheid and seen awful things like a bomb put inside a baby etc .. really brutal stuff.
It was really difficult and sad to live with them , they were completely drug and alcohol dependent and very high conflict, and I had to be very careful what I said and how I said it they were very sensitive.. they didn't want help for their substance abuse because they genuinely believed it was helping them . They are my partners parents , and we have accepted already that they will die of alcoholism, The mom has already developed liver problems and is continuing to drink.. it's just a matter of time , when she was ready to let people help she was let down by the lack of services that specialize in trauma and just couldn't help her .. so now she never wants to get help again. We've just accepted that they will die from this and it's tragic

That was really interesting, and fascinating all at the same time. You are very easy to listen to Dr Das and now that I have found you. I will be working my way through all your video's, Podcasts etc. Keep up the great work, you are a natural in front of the camera. Thank you for all that you do.

You try not to think until the point comes you no longer can. Memories you want to recall you no longer can. Really simple words can become hard to find. Its like brain dead.

God's perfect love for us cast out fear, when you know how much God love's you, you don't have to fear, God demonstrated His own love for us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, taking our punishment for sin and paying our sin debt to God, so we could be forgiven and have eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. God and Jesus can help us and heal us and give us His peace and joy and love. The LORD has helped me alot in my life.

Just to add to my last comment, the occasion of violence that I experienced was not first k or the last and many horrendous events since, death etc but I agree it’s definitely getting better ❤️‍🩹
