For those people with a Kenmore elite that doesn't have adjustments like those in the video, there are 1/2" bolts that point horizontally at the corners. They essentially do the same thing by raising the height at the corners. The bolt pushes against a plate that pivots rearward and down, raising the fridge. This adjustment evens the doors.
Rooster where are those bolts? The only way I can get the French doors to level is to make the refrigerator unlevel and I see any way to do it right. Do I need to take off the door gasket to see these bolts?
Newest issue, 10 year old fridge,similar side-by-side, door adjust lift assembly has broken through Plastic base of bottom- of door. Will have to remove and add a wide solid shim of metal. and a few washers.
I have a Whirlpool Double Door with Freezer on bottom. The sag is preventing the door guide from closing on the left door. I don't seem to have a hex alignment bolt. Now what?
I have this same issue, and the manual says to adjust the feet of the refrigerator to align the doors, but that makes no sense. It would seem that would raise the entire side of the fridge and not the door itself. There is no information about how to adjust the doors on these particular whirpool refrigerators .
What about it you’re 1/8 of an inch too tall from the upper cabinet how can you lower the fridge only solution I can think of is too break of the little wheels but don’t want to
Leveling the doors is an easy and quick job ..... until you run out of upward adjustment on the refrigerator door, switch over to the freezer door to drop it down and level with the refrigerator door anddddd no lowering/raising adjustment on the freezer door. I am going to start all over and do the job that my wife paid $30 to have Lowe's "Delivery People" do. Maybe this Kungflu isn't such a bad thing after all?
Phil Yamascunt Literally having the same exact issue. No idea how my old side by side refrigerator was able to be level on the same floor but the Lowe’s guys said on this new one it can’t be adjusted any more..
@@avinashsahoo2773 I had to use a shim under my back, right leg as you face the refrigerator. I used an angular shaped, lightweight shim that is made from pine or balsa and usually used for door jambs, shelves, cupboards or anything that needs a shim I put a level on top in both directions, grabbed my Craftsman pry bar, raised the back right corner and pushed the shim in until the refrigerator was level. I marked the shim with a marker, pulled the shim back out and snapped the shim on either side of my two markings, stuck the piece back in and rechecked the levels and called it a day
@@avinashsahoo2773 I didn't have a jackscrew adjustment on my left side door and I didn't get enough adjustment at all if I loosened the hinge screws and tried to lift my left side door. We may have different model refrigerators and/or I may have more "Sag" in my floor than you do? I was mainly concerned with making sure the main box/frame of the refrigerator was squared/leveled up first so the refrigerator itself wasn't in a twist/bind. If the main box of your refrigerator is square or close to square and you have the capability to adjust the left door up or down to level it up to the right side door then by all means do it that way.

I put a level on top in both directions, grabbed my Craftsman pry bar, raised the back right corner and pushed the shim in until the refrigerator was level.
