The missus got the Soundcore AeroFit Pro's for her work use, and she's happy with those, as they don't fatigue/bake her ears even when wearing a full work day, and from what little i tested them, they actually sound decent, though - not surprisingly - the bass section isn't anything to write home about. For outside use i'd probably go with decent in ears with ANC/hearthrough, like the Moondrop Space Travel (i bought Golden Age myself, but that's purely because i wanted to test out planar in ears 😁), but for office/handsfree use that you occasionally listen to music/videos as well, i can definitely see the need for these type "open earbuds".
I would use it at work for listening for audiobooks.

The soundstage on these are amazing in my opinion. I catch myself sometimes thinking that there is some type of surround sound when I'm wearing them

Great Video, I would actually really like to use these daily! as I am always walking around for work, switching between music, lectures and phone calls. Currently with a closed back in ears I need to take them out all the time so I could hear around me. I wanted to get open back in ears but it's really rare to find ones with microphones near mouth/cheeks (not on the cable). I haven't found yet a set which is 1. wireless + 2. open back + 3. microphone. But these seem more practical for hands free daily use than open back in ears. love the concept.

Took some time for the shipping and the box was smashed and the post office wrote a letter "We are sorry we ruined you package..." but it wasn't ruined! everything works perfectly. It sounds surprisingly good, much better then I expected actually. Nice sound stage too. I love that it's open. Thanks again! ❤
I've been into running recently, and I sweat a lot so earbuds would slide off my ear within an hour. These would be perfect fit for the activity and you can hear if some dude tries to mug you or dogs chasing you haha

Quite a boring use potentially - but the office. Being able to listen to music without completely removing myself from my surroundings seems pretty useful. I often have headphones on transparency mode for that reason but it can be distracting because the sound isn’t great on that mode. You could put some funky music on and feel like you’re some 80s movie montage by the xerox 😂

i dont get why there's no headphones that have the drivers be floating next to your ears instead, like small drivers floating im front of your ears or sum, with no cups around ears.
There have been a few like the RAAL SR1a and sony did a few in the early 2000s. I think it is just really hard to get much bass out of them. I may have a play with some designs my self
@@CustomCans I am also very interested in the floating mini speaker headphones, It would be amazing if you could explore it. Even if it doesn't sounds good, it would still be an incredibly fascinating experiment!
@@CustomCans yuh but raal sr1a are like huge, thought of smtn like just a medium-size speaker rly close to ur ear, like pointing sideways, not straight into your ear canal. just for convenience, not hifi sound, bone conduction can be uncomfortable for some people.
@@adorable_yangire I just found out about the upcoming Drop + Axel Grell headphones, there is an article you can search for "The Most Open Open-Back?", so I'm happy this concept is being explored.
The Valve Index VR headsets do that and people say they sound amazing and bassy too.
These would be great both for WFH and walking the dog! Can't stand people with no situational awareness when they're walking their dogs, but I would like to keep some tunes/podcasts on in the background.

These seem interesting. I do some light running twice or thrice a week. I used to use some galaxy buds, but I am constantly fidgeting with them as they feel like are falling out. In a pinch I am using a cheap pair of 7Hz zero's. I would be curious about these, in regards to wind noise and traffic noise etc.
The wind noise is pretty low compared to most over ear headphones - there is the odd angle where the wind blows in to the speaker where is suddenly starts making wind noise.
How is the soundleak? How much do people around you hear from your music?
It is not bad.. there is a little bit but not as bad as a lot of open back headphones
Did you try them with sunglasses or glasses in general?
Yes I wore them with sunglasses on - they seemed fine.
I would use them when my wife is talking to me
I use noise cancelling for that and then try to guess when to say hmm, ahhh and yes... It's a fun game.

way too late i so need theses if for nothing else. just to actually wear permenatley at my german inlaws to be able to pay attention to there conversation in theroy whilst being 00 miles away in sound )
I would like to win a a pair of these as I'm still using my string and 2 plastic cups "headphones" because I didn't win any of the previous giveaways. In case you're wondering, one cup is sellotaped over my left ear and my phone sits in the other cup. The string is only 10m long so I can't use it outside, so not very practical. 😢

I will listen to the first headphones that were invented and I did not listen to these things because of the lack of rubber. Their sound seems bright and it does not have BASS.
Yeh... you can't really get bass out of something like this but for audio booke they are pretty good
If we played video games I'd likely giggle nearly constantly. I just imagine it to be a super fun and enriching experience overall. As usual I can already see our poor execution or attempt at coordinating our attacks and regrouping :skull_emoji:
