I've had my 07 cls for a few years now, bought it cheap and spent the first 8-12 months waiting for the inevitable bank account draining failure which never came, love the car, love driving it, it has one or two issues but nothing anywhere near serious, passed it's MOT test every year since I bought it with only one advisory in that time (front offside brake line corroded) a beautiful car in my opinion, so glad I bought it and still look at it when I'm not in it.
I own the cls 350 from the 2008, and im in love with this care, i use to have a slk 350 and this cls its another kind of feeling, more luxurious executive and with a little touch of sportiness
I've had my 2010 CLS550 for 11 years now and still love it. I think it's a beautiful car, it has a great engine and it handles wonderfully. The maintenance isn't too bad, but I have had to replace two air struts and I've cracked two rims (damned low profile tires). Otherwise, I've just kept up with the maintenance schedule.
Loved the style back then, but then they started breaking apart. So many things to fail (which they do). I went for an E Class instead: E350, fully loaded, petrol, supersized fuel tank as an option. Happiest man on earth. W212
Not just the VW CC. The Jaguar XF was most certainly a saloon coupé hybrid, especially with its Dynamic Mode as well as the Audi A5/A7. The CLS is a beautiful car with very few peers.
I've been waiting and asking for a review of this wonderful car for some time, a d i can't help but feel a bit underwhelmed by the short video. Don't get me wrong, i appreciate the fact that you guys have made it, and it's absolutely a joy to watch another one of your videos, regardless.
All large cars are like that though it has a better turning circle v Volvo T5s of that time But yeh it is long think it’s more that it has larger bonnet, it has the parking sensors you can use all round, this model has the dots on dashboard, but in age they can malfunction It does feel annoying in a busy car park though, you are very correct but is Merc you can just take time and cruise, but yes definitely more a motorway car I have drove this same one in video, Logbook in UK this colour is actually listed as Silver but when you see them they have a more a Gold look, and If polish up is a hint of rose gold and silver Mine interior was Cream though and carpet so lot of hoovering if you want them always clean But yeh I like this car on longer roads but around tight streets and parking like busy supermarket, you have to be well careful V6 sounds nice in these though I found it was heavy on fuel round town As you say is parking An enjoyable drive just be careful of Tyres, one I had is 18 inch runflats and they like £199 a tyre , this car has way wide tyres All round 8.5 out 10 for me
@@GrahamHeathcote-w1z a car can be both a Coupé and a have a hatchback, like the Capri, being a Coupé is determined by the roofline at the rear of the car.
@fookinLmate It costs a lot with the consumption but drives very smoothly and doesn’t develop problems at all . I love it but I don't have that much to spend on petrol. Wanna sell it because of that.

Had mine since 2014, now up to 187k miles. Still feels and looks great.
the quality of the video looks like from the 80s
Adds a bit of charm to it
Time flies it was shot 15 years ago

I have been driving a 2008 320cdi CLS for 13 years. I loved my Dad's Rover SD1 too.
That’s cool! How many kilometers do you have on the CLS320? I’m thinking about buying one, 2008 model too
Diesel🤢

Nearly 120,000 miles on the clock. Still a great drive.

I had a 2012 vw cc and this reminds me of it so much I’m getting one soon

Simply a beautiful car, to admire with powerful engines. A great collectors item
great video, but music was creepy as hell
the only thing you have to watch on these really is the 7-gtronic gearboxes ours gave up the ghost at 80,000 miles
It is absolutely beautiful and luxury vehicle but huge and hard to find parking 😢

Great video, same Mercedes as my customer has ,, and same year 2008 👍
Thanks 👍
Rover produced a four door Coupé, the SD1, 29 years before the CLS 🤔
That was a hatchback. The P5 was the 4 door coupe.

have the same car 2006 plate and guess what I love it!! a very good and honest review.
I have 350 super fast, and I wish it was diesel, not petrol 😢
I'm thinking about getting a petrol version do you find yours thirsty

a cls review from a geography teacher. ok
Used cars will be gold dust in the future
Couldn't watch more than 3mins of this as the constant music was annoying
It's the ugly headlights that spoils it for me, awful shape!
