If you want to attach a front-facing fender to cover the front of the tire, you could build duplicate fenders like you made, only with the bracket mounted on the other side of the mounting point, where the nut is. You could mount the bracket differently to allow a few inches behind it to bridge the gap under the mounting point, so there's no gap between fenders. This gives you 2 full fenders for $12 of plywood, plus glue and a few brackets. Bigger coverage than many plastic fenders as well.
I like these fenders and the material. Another method to build a bigger fender is to cut a plastic fender along the middle line, put a strip of plastic between the two parts and attach it with bolts or rivets. What I miss on these plywood fenders is rails on the sides to guide the water down. I would attach two flexible plastic profiles to the sides of a plywood fender. Using profiles made from plywood seem difficult to me, as they might not be flexible enough when too thick or not durable enough when thin enough to be flexible. In the front there should be a fender with rails, which guide the water down, in the rear the fender can be without these rails, imo. In the end it is a good and cheap idea making fenders from plywood. Thank you for the video.
I'm waiting for the middle of July to get my Radrover delivered. I bought these reflective orange flame decals I'm going to put on the fenders. I'm not a big fan of the fenders they give you, so I thought that might jazz them up a bit! Love your videos!
Very ingenious to make the curved fenders by cementing the shear forces between two pieces of wood on a radius. Kudos!
Pretty sure Stan yelled at his neighbors to stop interrupting his UA-cam video with their lawnmower 😂

Fantastic.. Gonna make some tomorrow and cover them with Bedliner..
Love the rail anvil

You are the man, this would work perfect
Good idea. Nice work Stan!
Very nicely done Stan! Thanks for the how to video!!
have you tried a pvc pipe? cut it in half and heat it with hot air gun.. works well too
Sounds like it should work. My wooden fenders are starting to fall apart after a couple years.
+1 for the Ridgid oscillating sander, I love mine!
Thank you for sharing nice fenders😃👍
Vero good. Good idea.. compliments
what about using PVC pipe and heated up, then bend!
Using a ratchet strap to bend and secure the fender to the tire would be my attempt.
All good but I would rather make em out of fiberglass and they will be lighter. Get these wet and they will swell and gain weight.
Awesome fender!
Thanks!
Can you please make a few and sell it. I am willing to buy
I bet you could cut one out of a plastic 55 gal drum.
I have seen this method being used to do curved roof trusses 👍
Hi Stan , I see the other bicycle you built , please when are we getting a video on it, thanks man
It's in the works! Thanks
I guess if you have a Mercedes, you can afford to have so many clamps and a pair of shorts to stain with glue!
Hello sir Is that a 26er fatbike?
yes
A very cool bike
