Amazing video and instructions thank you so much!! But at 46:13 you skipped past Homepage Test Question 2 straight onto Homepage Test Question 3, I must know what question 2 is! 😆
I like this kind of class where you learn how to do specific things that can have a big impact on a business. Keep them coming, John!
What do you want to hear next?
@@IgniteVisibility Could you delve ever deeper into CRO optimization? Maybe do a start-to-finish run of how you guys would improve CR for a site? I know this is probably difficult to do but it be so helpful to all of us I think. It's one thing to see the theory behind it (which does help on its own) and another to see it put in practice.
I've learned so much in just an hour. My mind is going crazy, trying to organize what I've just learned about :)
You got this!
That CRO ROI is just awesome! Why aren't we funding this :)? We (all companies, big and small) should be diving head on into CRO and improving it in any way, shape or form we can.
We definitely agree! CRO ROI is telling of your web design, copy and more
Thanks for the webinar. I have learned a lot and I am going to start testing.
Glad it was helpful!
Hey Ignite team, thanks a bunch for the time put in this really great webinar! One request, could you provide a new link to the full checklist? Seems this one is missing the first page... Thanks again! It's rare to find so much actionable and honest content, especially in the marketing landscape. Really appreciate it!
Yes that is something we find. its also on our website
Started learning how to convert traffic for less a few days ago and your class was a great starting point for me. Thank you and more of these please.
Great to hear!
Still in the early phases myself and I'll take any learning I can get. To me, right now, this is rocket science.
Stick with it! Keep testing and you'll learn something new every time.
Thank you for your team efforts much appreciated.
Thank you too!
A very hot topic for me right now! Thanks for sharing! This is very precious!
Glad you like it!
“Are there any low trafficked high converting channels you should invest in more?” This is one of the most important ones to look at. I did this recently and I got some great initial results.
Great to hear
For me, this was or is Pinterest. It converts well (I was surprised how well it does actually) but the traffic is low and I'm looking into ways to change this.
@@rebeccamatthews5538 Mine is Instagram. I haven't worked so much on this platform but it's still one of my best one conversion wise so I need to put in some work here.
After using heat mapping (among others) we finally understood what our clients and potential clients wanted (or didn't want) from us. We've managed to make some relatively small changes that led to MAJOR ROI shifts. It's so worth it to "ask" your audience what they like/dislike (in this case, to "see" what they like/dislike).
I agree. And start using user recordings, people. You'll learn so, so much about how users actually interact with and where they seem to be stuck.
Great outcome, glad to hear it
So many of the great heat mapping and user recording tool out there today offer features that are not part of their Free plan, but are absolutely worth paying for.
Being able to filter using recordings and heat maps for actions like Rage Clicking, U-turns, and more can reveal problem areas that you would have never considered!
Keep the CRO class coming...
Thanks for the feedback!
This class is so actionable! I've already started applying some of your ideas
🔥🔥🔥
So glad! Please share your results
@@IgniteVisibility Ok, so it's been over a week since I started applying some of the things I learned about in the class. With my limited experience, I'm already seeing a 19% CR increase! I'm very happy with these results and hopefully I can do even better with time.
Awesome Kevin! That's the best news. Let us know if there's anything else you'd like us to cover.
You recommend 2 tests a month. I was doing maybe 5 tests yearly. I feel so behind now. Will start to up my game and use more of the tools you talked about so I test more, faster. Thank you so much!
Best of luck!
Don't feel left behind. How should I feel since I haven't done much testing either? Let's learn from the pros and get cracking ;)
5 tests a year is still 5 more than a lot of companies out there today! You can increase your testing cadence pretty quickly, but always treat the reason your testing something, the quality of the the test, and the KPIs you want to measure as the most important part of testing.
Fantastic presentation. Thank you!
Our pleasure!
It was awesome guys
Thank you
Thank you!
I agree that testing prices like that can create a lot of problems and should be avoided. There's a lot of other things that can be split tested.
What are you testing?
I have a friend that learned this lesson the hard way. People were leaving his page in drones and he didn't understand why. It was because his service was advertised for $49 on a site and he just changed it to $59. Took him a while to figure it out.
Wow! I didn't know that companies spent just $1 on CRO for every $92 spent on customer acquisition. What an untapped opportunity!
Interesting fact, isn't it?
No wonder the CRO of most companies is so bad! You can't do much with so little invested
@@IgniteVisibility Yep, and it makes things a lot clearer. Invest in CRO more and you'll get more profits. Simple as that.
@@razvand9014 Yep, we're guilty of this as well. The company I work for doesn't or didn't invest that much into CRO until now. This year, things are different and I see them determined to drastically increase funds in this area so that we get a much better conversation rate.
I know it's best to test only 1 thing at a time with A/B testing but how can I get someone to understand that's the correct way to do things? I'm talking about an older executive that thinks we should be able to test multiple things at once and get faster results to see what works and what doesn't?
If you're testing more than one variable, you might not see clear results
@@IgniteVisibility I know that but I can’t go over the decision of my boss. The question is how do I make him see that there’s a right way to do this and a wrong way. Any ideas?
@@brianturner2127 if your company’s site deals in sign-up or downloads instead of transactions, determining what the monetary value of a submission or a download is a good start. People not involved in the testing process sometime don’t understand the impact of results, but everyone understands making or losing money!
Using that knowledge, an argument can be made that by running a test with to many changes, even when it makes money, you can’t be sure you made as much as you should have. If a test made you $1000, that’s great, but what we don’t know is that there was a negative change on the test that actually lost money! Breaking the test up would have resulted in making $3k, but instead, you end up with $1k, and are blissfully ignorant of the money that was left on the table.
If that still hasn’t convinced them, look into testing with platforms that specialize in multivariate testing so that you can better measure the effect of individual changes on a test that contains multiple changes.
Hope this helps!
- Randy Anderson
Our company must have wasted tens of thousands of dollars because we didn't do any testing to see what works best or we didn’t test the right things. I hope we can learn from this.
Let us know if you have any quesitions!
My traffic is not converting at all. I got some good ideas from this class but I'm still in the dark in some aspects.
you can reach out to us at opportunity@ignitevisibility.com
Same problem here. It's a great start, the class I mean. It's opened up a lot of doors for me and also brought in new questions.
@@IgniteVisibility Trying a few things first and if this doesn’t work I’ll contact you.
@@jaydenmiller9538 how did your initial CRO efforts go? CRO is an iterative cycle, so the first test isn’t always a a huge hit. Taking the wins and the losses and putting them back into your research phase is a sure fire way to find the wins and the associated conversion lift you are looking for!
Quite Engaging content... How much normally do people charge for a CRO position?
CRO costs 2 to 20k a month
a lot of word salads
Thats for sure!
