I have to say, I really appreciate everything the show has NOT covered. I am serious. It's been nice not seeing COVID related stuff and no BLM riots. Even when they did cover racism it wasn't extreme and all in our faces like other shows. I watch TV to escape reality not relive stuff that happened a couple months ago.

While I know this show issin't 100% realistic, it made me respect policemen so mush more. Yes.. sadly there are bad cops here and there, and yes it sucks when you get a speed ticket. But they are the one's that go towards danger when it counts.

Yes there is is no search warrant but i don't think they were going for a court case they found the child also the part they said the criminal had an arest warrant from before from when they read the car number
@@BatteryH1862 well I have, but none of the six exeption made by the supreme court applies, they just guessed that it could be that house and that house happens to belong to someone who has a criminal record don't think that's enough for probable cause though by that logic the police could go to a rough neighbourhood after a crime happened and start busting down every door

The exigent circumstances exemptions then apply for the arrest - but not, for example, drug paraphernalia in another room. And frankly, no cop is foing to get fired for preventing the death of a hostage.
I believe the words "exigent circumstances" would apply in this case. Or, to put it more bluntly, What judge is gonna argue against the life of a small child?
And the accomplices in the house may go free because of that. I'm guessing you think they should also be given back the kidnapped girl, but even in California that's not going to happen.
