My Dad had a Riveria 1966 he worked in MORRISTOWN NJ and a Salesman at ODonnel Buick plum color GS 425 v8 with 2 4barrels what a ride 3.42 posi rear 400 turbo trans car was brand new he got a Demo every year.so much fun those days
Very nice!
Love it! ❤️
Whatever you do, take good care of it!
Back in 66 my dad had a RIVIERA GS
Dual 4bbls, turbo400 3.42:1 posi. Almost every year we'd take a long trip down the east coast from NYC. Sometimes all the way to Coral gables. Excellent long trip car. Plenty fast. But thirsty for hi octane. Then, my dad got the70 brand new w/455. Now,that puppy could move. That 1 I was tall enough to power the seats & tilt the steering wheel to accommodate me. I found the 70 w/455 to be faster, more luxurious, 4note horn, 8track etc. 76 I got me a an brand new Buick 225 Landau coupe. The $$$ I saved by NOT BUYING A PARK AVENUE, LIMITED, I used for options. Astroroof cornering lamps power everything for a tick above $9k. That year pop bought a new Caddy F.I. Eldorado fully equipped. When G.M. was NOT GOVERNMENT MOTORS .
Nice car
I'd take this over 3 new cars
Ha! He just had to say Buick is right under Cadillac to answer your question. I like the Riv but there’s only one thing wrong with it
It’s not an Olds!
Lol I’m a Oldsmobile guy but I’d settle for that Buick haha
The 1966 Riviera GS is the best of them all. I had a 1967 GS, but I prefer the 425 over the 430.
